Hotel was obviously very good in it’s day, but needs a bit of TLC, as it’s showing a bit of wear and tear. Good location, helpful staff. Downside was a room that was on the East side and close to the road so you had the 3am and 4am revving of cars with the music way too loud for 4am and waking up hotel guests. Hotel needs to look at sound proofing the windows, as the car drivers are just having a good time. If I was in the area again, I would probably stay at the hotel, but in a different room.

The staff were so friendly! Everyone there was top flight, from the valets to the maintenance folks. Very nice pool. They treated my wife like a queen for her birthday. Really don't know what to say, other than I would happily go back.

We stayed here while we were attending the NABC in Providence. The cold buffet breakfast was quick, adequate. Room was neat, AC good, reasonably quiet. At first it’s a little tricky getting around the hotel, having to take an elevator from the room to the 1st floor only to catch another elevator up to the 2nd. This is because there’s East and West wings of the hotel. For some reason they have the escalator connecting the 1st and 2nd floor closed. For me, I’d ask to take it a step further and let us take the stairs to and from our rooms, get some natural exercise. I suppose there’s liability issues with that. Otherwise, we were happy at the Omni for the 5 days were there in July.

I had been planning this trip for a very long time spent a lot of money in transportation costs food costs as well as lodging. I was unfortunately very disappointed from the moment that I walked in and saw how dated the room was. I definitely wanted to give it a chance regardless. Unfortunately it just kept getting worse, we had a little tiny TV with one hardly working channel and then that channel was scrambled. The switches on the lights were broken, no microwave and there were stains on the comforter. They advertise free Wi-Fi, at the desk she told me they would charge me $9.95 for the “free Wi-Fi “and I would be refunded when I checked out, this made absolutely no sense to me and this had never happened at any other hotel I stayed in. Still, I try to hide my disappointment for my daughter because I didn’t want her to have her trip completely ruined. At bedtime it sounded like we had a jet engine right outside our window it would get louder and then dim and then louder and it went on all night long so we got absolutely no sleep. We had a complete weekend planned with the tickets and everything purchased after night with no sleep the following day was a complete waste of time and money unfortunately. I did talk to the front desk and they switched rooms they were very kind unfortunately that was our last night. I would just say that it’s not worth the price that you pay per night I expected much more for the price. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this hotel.

Mediocre hotel. They seemed to have done some renovations, that barely brings this hotel in to the early 2000’s.I had 2 old smelly pillows that smelled like they’ve been used since the day this place was built, absolutely gross. The toilet was constantly backed up. Engineering came to clear the issue, but it was a constant problem during my stay, so we decided to just use the lobby facilities. The best part about this stay was that the staff was actually great very apologetic, almost rehearsed. Seems like they do a lot of that on behalf of the Omni. Seriously, the staff tried their best to assist. But the hotel is dated and not worth the stay, especially during a holiday weekend when the prices are super inflated!!

This place is sad and gross. FILTHY ROOM, awful service, just the most amazingly rude and unprofessional. I called twice to let them know our room was dirty -- thick dust on the phone, a DIRTY toilet, crumbs on the bed, they promised to send someone, so we left for the day, returned tired and ready for bed and, guess what? Nothing had been done. Disgusting motel.

Had a recent stay at the Omni. Really attentive front staff, especially when we arrived. Valet took care of our car and made arrival so easy. Everything went as described, room was nice, was within walking distance to mall, convention center, restaurants and bus stop. Was a little disappointed that room didn't have a hair dryer or a bathroom fan, and room temp was a little warm for me, but that is the worst of it. Those are little things compared to the best of it: great view of State House, location is excellent and room was nice, had lots of hot water. There was a little fridge but no microwave. Nice pool/hot tub. Secure key system so that non-guests cannot access the floors without a card key. Cute gift shop in hotel. Keurig in room for coffee. Would stay here again for sure.

Shortage of many supplies, coffee, towels, etc. Only one robe in a room with two beds is nonlogical. I asked for one more robe without any result whatsoever. Safe is vertical and almost unusable. Valet parking was OK for parking, but crazy mess to get car and key. Staff was not helpful. At the same time, the location is very good, but direction can be confusing. Spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows. Connection to the adjacent mall via a bridge is very convenient.

We had no hot water in our room and it must have been the whole floor if not several floors. The front desk manager did not comp any part of the room charge. Disappointing that they only offered another room, when I clear communicated I was on a tight schedule and wouldn’t make it where I needed if I had to pack and move.

We were left without a room by another hotel in Providence after that hotel canceled our reservation due to the fact that THEY overbooked their hotel. With no knowledge of this cancellation we showed up at 9pm to find out we didn’t have a room to stay in. Expedia was able to get us in at the Omni Providence and they were great. Very accommodating, pleasant and clean. We had a very comfortable room. Thank you to the Omni staff especially Anthony, our valet, who was very personable and helpful. We appreciate all you do.
