Overall not worth the cost, even being generous for inflation.Pros:Order was technically correct.Delivery was able to locate the correct address.Cons:Pizza arrived nearly cold.Crust was tough, well beyond chewy.Pizza did not have red sauce and was not a white variety of pizza. (!?)Cheese didn't even go near the edge. If you aren't doing sauce you gotta make it work with other stuff.Somehow they even sorta messed up folding the pizza box too. (Extra points for consistency on folding boxes as badly as making pizza as badly as delivering it cold.)
We were in Providence on a college tour. My daughter is vegan but really wanted pizza. Nice slice offered tons of vegan options as well as regular pizza for the rest of us. She asks my son decided on vegan Philly chicken cheese steak, and we got a white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes. Both pizzas were so delicious. They only offer one size... But we love left over pizza. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Providence.
Nice Slice is my favorite pizza place in Providence for vegan pizza. They have had vegan slices available every time I have been in which I really appreciate. As a grown-up punk, I enjoy looking at all the old show flyers up on the walls and trying to remember who those bands were. Nice Slice is definitely worth checking out if you like vegan pizza! They have regular dairy and meat pizzas too. Lots of slices are always out for those as well.
The ppl working here are extremely friendly and pizza is second to none in this state !!
This is one of the best pizza spots in the country - no joke.Coming from Brooklyn, where pizza is scared, we didn’t know what to expect. Nice Slice is stunning. The crust is crispy on the outside & soft on the outside. The sauce is super flavorful.We get the same order every time “Margherita with Roni” with some extra cherry tomatoes. You can’t go wrong.Pro Tip: Order a whole pie, it will be devoured quickly.
As a busy high school student, Nice Slice is just such a great place to get a bite with some friends and chill. I love the convenient and central location for students, teachers, staff and even the workers of The Providence Public school department and The Providence Student Union for lunches, events and quick bites to eat. 10/10 would recommend!!
They have good vegan pizza here! The drinks are bottled, and they serve slices as well as fulls. The staff were chill and friendly. Good to stop by for a snack, too. Street parking.
Can I just talk about how friendly the workers are here! They all greet you very friendly. The vegan pizza is what I came back for the second time. My GPS got me here when I realized it wasn't the same location I've visited a couple of years ago. I live closer to Cape Cod, MA. My cousin visiting from Boston, MA is new to vegan eating and I wanted to treat her and my mother to some good vegan New York style pizza. We ordered a large 1\2 plan vegan cheese and a few vegan sausage slices. My cousin wanted a slice in the car before we drove home which took us about 50 minutes. We would had ate there but it was 15 minutes to their closing time. It was also pretty stormy out but it was all worth it. On her next visit we will dine in so she can experience the pizza right from the their oven. The atmosphere is pretty cool too!
Not bad on the slices. Tangy sauce but not much cheese flavor. I’d highly recommend just ordering the pies of what you want. Much better
