Good quick mid day lunch. Waitress, Michelle B, was super friendly. Food came out quick and fresh, good bread with French dip. Laid back atmosphere. Fine for friends, couples, family. Thumbs up Murphy’s ?

Excellent time, sat with Ruth at the end of the bar and felt like family. We were here as a stop in a friend's bachelor party and Ruth gave us the run down of where to and no to go. Told us to stay hydrated and get some food in our belly's because we had started early. She was a great person reminder of my late grandmother Ruth. Would highly recommend this establishment. Twiggy was great to us as well. Friendly as a old school tender could be and fast with the service. Gave the man a 100% tip for dealing with me and the boys and his his top notch service.

We had heard of the great food and vibes from this place and so we enthusiastically went to have a good dinner. However, we were seriously disappointed. Yes, this place looks like most anyone can have a good time and enjoy some great beverages, but the food is dull and boring. We started with French Onion Soup and NE Clam Chowder. The French Onion Soup should really be renamed French Bread Soup as the bread was the biggest item below the cheese with a couple of paltry onions. We both tried the acclaimed Shepard's Pie and although it was very nicely presented, it was tasteless and you could tell that the gravy used was just instant gravy where they "added water and stirred" it to give it effect. We hoped for a decent dessert, but that too, was all fluff and no substance as it was mainly whipped cream and very little of anything else on the bottom as the main ingredients were on the bottom for effect. Overall, we were very frustrated with the meal.

Excellent Irish bar. Exactly what you want. Very good food. Service great even with one server tending bar and taking orders. Try any desert and you will be happy. Really happy.Very nice selection of Scotch whiskey and draft beer.

First visit to this historic pub was better than expected. The food was delicious and the service was great. Hunter took great care in serving us and treating us like family. We had the Murphy's Reuben and the Portobello Reuben with sides of a delicious potato salad, tasty pickle slices and a wonderful Russian Dressing. We enjoyed some Whaler's Rise and Narragansett Lager made right here in Rhode Island. We cannot wait to go back for more good food in a 1929 real pub.

Excellent food and staff!!! The O.G. burger was to die for!!! Their Bloody Mary recipe was a perfect blend of juice and spices and there Reuben egg rolls, yassss!

We loved it here! I really think the Smokehouse burger is the best burger I've ever had. Half pound gurger cooked perfectly medium rare with bacon onions and coleslaw on the bottom served on perfectly toasted Texas toast. Outstanding! And a great tap menu!

Love Murphy's!! The owner is so friendly and welcoming she makes me want to keep coming. Feels like a real Irish pub with good vibes, people, and food. Drinks are gr es t and food is even better! I love the impossible Shepards pie , you'd never know it was vegetarian. Reason why I gave 4 stars is every now and then when the owner and her son aren't there the service and quality aren't as good. For the most part it's consistent and fabulous

Large group of people, the service was good food was good. Great atmosphere, I'm use to having irish music mixed in the background, pouges, saw doctors, ect. they had all contemporary music, missed that celtic music touch. Maybe it was just that particular time and day.

Good friendly service, great atmosphere.
