It was fine. Our waitress was super kind and wonderful, and she's the reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 2. The food quantity was good for the price but was a bit sugary. But the real reason for the low rating is we got originally seated in a booth at the back which was nice because it was busy and the booth blocked a lot of sound so it was easier for the 4 of us to talk. But a few minutes after placing our orders one of the workers (not our waitress, later when asked she didn't know why we needed to get moved) asked us to move to accommodate other guests. So we were moved to a middle table where it was louder and harder to talk. And here's the thing, I know this seems silly. And if a party of 5-6 people had come in and they needed the booth to fit them all that would have been fine. But they just seated two people there, and it just felt weird to get moved so two people could sit in our spot when a two person table opened up five minutes after we moved.

One of a kind food and service. Went there as our daughter is a huge fan of Korean fanfare. We weren't disappointed with the food or the service. Each entree was served in a special tray with side dishes that were superb ?. Parking is the only hassle being that it is downtown. They even complimented a desert item as we had simply stated in conversation that it was our daughter's birthday. Definitely will go back again. Just a heads up, prices are on par with downtown and or authentic cuisine.

The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very nice ? however I'll have to dock some stars for service and inconsistency in cooking at times.I've come here a couple of times now and each time, while the tastiness of the dishes blew me away, it feels like there's never enough waitress/waitor. After we're seated (after a 30 minute wait-list), it took another 15-20 minutes for someone to even come talk to us. Things are constantly running out (if you want ginseng chicken you better come early I guess). And today my friend's tofu stew wasn't hot enough to cook the egg (the whites were completely still transparent)Again, the food is amazing but I would just recommend to come earlier than 6pm if you want a nicer experience.

Love the vibe, love the aesthetic, love the music, love the food. Such a great experience here at Mokban. The staff is nice and the food is insanely delicious. One hundred recommend the bibimbap, specially the beef and in a stone bowl. We also had the mokban ramen which was really tasty. Would absolutely come back! Now for my standard COVID comments as of April 2022. All staff members are wearing masks and the seating is relatively spread out. Felt completely comfortable with eating indoors.

Was recommended Mokban and so happy we went. Fyi they have QR code menus which were very easy to use! Delicious offerings and healthy sized special dietary needs menus!I went with Japchae which was PHENOMENAL! The flavor was perfect and all elements were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Even the side bowls were fresh, tasty and fun. The broth that accompanied my Japchae wasn’t very flavorful to me so I didn’t finish but the Japchae was more than satisfying for a meal. My partner had Bibimbap and it was sizzling hot with each element delicious.

The service was un-attentive and they served our dessert before our entrees. Definitely interesting. The “Fiery Udon” that I got To-Go is pictured below. The flavor is awful (think just peanut butter and sriracha) no bang or depth like fish sauce, soy or even ginger. No Umami whatsoever (for a $20 entree it’s incredibly underwhelming.) The sweet chili dumplings seem to be previously frozen not made in house with pre-made sweet chili sauce sauce you can buy in any grocery store. The ingredients are cheap, and it’s obvious. However, they seem to excel at soups, with lots of accoutrement. I’ll have to try that next time.

I can’t say enough how incredible this restaurant is. I have been coming to Mokban for several years and it is easily my favorite Korean restaurant. Not only is every single food item delicious, the atmosphere and the staff are absolutely wonderful.I love the candles on the tables and the wooden decor. The traditional style of the food with each wooden tray.My favorite is the Seafood Fried Rice, which is delicious. Every single time I come to this restaurant I am never disappointed.Highly recommend

First time trying Korean food and we loved it! Had kimchi stew, bibimap, wings and dumplings.

If you order sharables, you may order the set of side dishes for $5 (per person). Do not even want to upload a photo of main menu we ordered - Budaejjigae. Too salty, lack of ingredients against its effective price. I even tried their lunch the next day and it was just.. whew.. 말잇못.. 앞으로도 건승하세요.

I made a reservation on Monday for Saturday at 7 and I get a call on Friday at 9:30pm telling them that they overbooked and it is not their problem if I can't find another place. I supposedly spoke to the manager but with that attitude and costumer service manners... makes me wonder who trained her
