Food was outstanding! Best steak I've ever had! Quiet, beautiful restaurant for our Anniversary. Highly recommend to anyone for any event. Would return in a minute. Professional, overly friendly staff that made us feel like family.

I gave them 2 stars because the food was good. Otherwise, this restaurant deserves no stars at all. Not sure if the incidents below were associated were due to biases but my husband and I felt we were treated very differently from other customers.The service and manager were awful.1- I made a reservation in advance for my husbands first Father’s Day. We were a couple minutes early. When we arrive the manager and hosts greeted us, I gave them my name. They looked around for a table for us. There was an open table for 2 by the window. I insisted we sit there. It seemed they did not want to sit us there (strange). Instead they made us wait until another party finished their food and they cleaned behind them then sat us there. Seemed they were hesitant to sit us by the window oddly, even though I requested it. Being pregnant I didn’t want to stand any longer. Interestingly a couple of a different race from myself were seated there 20 mins later.2- the service was extremely slow and disappointing3- everyone around us received complementary bread, we did not, they even took away the bread plates when our apps came out. It was so odd!4- It felt like the manager was rushing us out, though there were tables and families around us who were there before we arrived and still when we left.5- while we were there the manager lost someone’s credit card. She had the waiters search under each persons table looking for it. They found it at another table but it was so uncomfortable for everyone. They asked customers to get up.Hopefully their service will improve over time. Food was good but I wouldn’t go back because of the clear difference in treatment.
The restaurant is definitely over over rated based on our visit. We received very poor service from m the time we entered the business! The menu was much more limited than we expected based on their website. Not a great dining experience.
First time dining in person at Mills Tavern. Had done take out a few times during Covid and finally got to go in person with a friend. What a great all-around experience starting with the valet Derek. He was welcoming and courteous, and had the car ready when we walked out. Our server was Lynne, and she was a consumate professional. What a pleasure. The meal was outstanding, kudos to the Chef and staff. If you want an awesome dining experience, with fabulous food and service, go check out Mills Tavern!!
Very good experience.
The food was not that great. The mashed potatoes were cold. The Sirloin Strip was very fatty and salty. Our server was great. Valet service was good as well.
