We went for the 3 course lunch with kids and seniors and everyone was happy. Amaaaaazing carbonara! My FIL schooled in Italy and gave it a thumbs way up. The chicken parmigiana might have been even better.

The food was delicious. The three of us each had at least three courses, and nothing was left uneaten. However, the slow, inattentive service detracted from our experience. The poor service was also noted by the table next to us. I would have been more forgiving had it been a busy evening, but the restaurant was half empty. We had to get up and search for silverware for our courses. When we asked someone if they had silverware, the staff never apologized, just slowly got the needed silverware and let us return to our table ourselves, fork in hand. We finally got grated cheese halfway through our main entrees after asking twice. Water glasses remained unfilled for most of our dinner. The other negative was the loudness of Atwells Aveâcars with blaring music and loud exhausts. Iâm not sure I would return given the plethora of great Italian restaurant options in Providence. My advice: go on an evening when you are prepared to stay at least 2.5 hours.
Had a delicious meal with friends. Beautiful interior, friendly and helpful waitstaff paired with fun cocktails to go with our incredible, generously portioned food.

Very crowded but lots of seating space, indoor and outdoor. Staff was working very hard. Food was good and well presented. Sorry that our server never told us of the days specials as the table next to us ordered one and it looked yummy. Would eat there again when back in the area.
