Very nice Greek restaurant near the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC). The menu has a nice variety of dishes. As a group of 4 we ordered the calamari appetizer, a Greek salad, and the mixed grill and it was plenty. The calamari was very good, the salad was great and the mixed grill was fantastic. If you're planning to go anytime near a PPAC show, reservations are definitely in order.
Kleos is an absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff are some of the friendliest around. The food......wow, authentically Greek and no matter what I ordered, everything was simply bursting with flavor. After 3 fantastic visits, this will be one of my regular spots. If you happen to stop by, try the braised lamb..... you can thank me later.
We came right at opening. It didn't take long to realize we came at the right time. My wife ordered the Taramasalata toast which is served cold but was delicious and I had the Squid ink spaguetti with pan seared sea scallops and i added the shrimp with it and that was an excelllent choice. The overall flavors of these two dishes came through perfectly and both meals with perfectly prepared and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend these two dishes 2 any couple going to try out this restaurant for the first time if you like seafood. Both meals we're good portions also. They also have a full bar and a good wine selection. The dessert selection is very authentic and delicious. So we will be back and we give it to thumbs up.
I went to Kleo's on a Tuesday night with a rather large group. We tried an assortment of tasting platters, and wine as well as appetizers and mixed drinks. It isn't often that you don't get one person in a large group with something critical to say about their experience. NOT ONE COMPLAINT! Honestly, we had the best service and food and overall experience with Kleo's staff and menu selections. Food and service was outstanding! We are ready to travel to Mykonos now!
Food a little on the saltier side so be perhaps request less salt if you are sensitive. Excellent service, good location, and fantastic music selection. Would return.
Honestly, the food is fine. I enjoyed the octopus and my meal (although the wagyu steak could be better for the price). The dessert was the best part (waffle sundae). The waiters/waitresses were also fine and pretty attentive. The problem is that if you’re a younger party/couple you will be very blatantly and clearly treated different. My girlfriend and I had a reservation and were put on a table in the rear, behind everything and everyone else, next to the waiter area, where we were away from the lighting and at the end of the booths, behind a table/booth. I would have been fine with this if it was because we were a party of two or because no other tables were open, but there actually were other tables open and other parties of two (that were much older) were seated in those tables even though they came 10 minutes after us (the table was open the entire time). Also, the owners/managers were walking around greeting everyone, except interestingly didn’t say a word to us. I felt disrespected.
Absolutely delicious food, Opa!
Authentic Greek cuisine including spanakopita and octopus. Will come back!
The food was served hot and was most tasteful. The servers were knowledgeable , friendly and efficient.
Food & Service were great. I'd recommend it and wi go back.
