I have had such a positive experience with literally everyone who works in the pharmacy here at Main St. If you are looking for a new pharmacy, there is no better place in Providence. When I had COVID in January, they delivered meds to me. As for staff, John the pharmacy manager is amazing, kind, and so knowledgeable as are his colleagues who work there. Every single time I come with my 100 questions, they are respectful, they respect your privacy, they listen patiently, and they always offer helpful information for medications. I want to acknowledge these workers: John, Catherine, Kathleen, Christina, Olivia S., and Kim. I hope I have not forgotten anyone and I highly recommend this local pharmacy to anyone.

Love Green Line! It’s always a stop we make at least once or twice while in Providence. Hazel took excellent care of us!

Greenline is a fun place! The soda fountain will take you back in time while serving up delicious shakes and old fashioned drinks like egg creams and phosphates. They have great drugstore items like natural skincare and solid shampoo. The modern, full service pharmacy offers friendly, personalized service. What s great place!

Greatly enjoying a chocolate caramel milk shake from the old fashioned soda fountain prepared by soda jerk Maya! A wonderful treat on a spring Sunday afternoon!

Love this place! Best coffee in the state. Grab a shake or sundae. Wonderful products to shop. Local and organic. Ben made a pot of decaf for me today. The best service and friendliest place to get prescriptions filled or just to hang out for a coffee and treat.

I have been going to Green Line I'm PVD since the day they started accepting prescription transfers. Just now while I was googling to remind myself what time they opened, I noticed that there were a bunch of reviews in a row noting poor service at the pharmacy. I am absolutely shocked to hear this. I have never received anything but the best service here. Their text reminder system is great, and new prescriptions sent from my doctor are filled within a few hours of her placing the request. I have had tons of issues in the past with other pharmacies but this one, never. I hope people are making their own decisions before judging because this place is the absolute best. Oh, and you can get a milkshake and great local soaps while you're picking up some mundane pharmaceuticals. And it's cute and the location/parking lot is super easy access. What more could you possibly want.

If you're looking for a pharmacy with decent ice cream that can fill your prescription once or twice a year, then this place is for you!If you rely on your medications on a regular basis and will go into withdrawal or have have adverse reactions from not receiving your medication this might not be the place for you! They have recently started to employ great techniques for removing honest feedback! You won't see a bad review after April 5, 2022 and that's why!

There are so many positive things I can say about the Green Line Apothecary. First and foremost they do a great job of administrating prescriptions and managing that whole process, which is essential for any apothecary. When adding the home delivery service, it makes the process personal and shows an extra level of care that you can only get from a local business that cares about its customers. Outside of medications and advice from the pharmacists, it's actually a very cool place to visit. My kids love tagging along to get some ice cream or soda from the soda fountain area.

1. When I went to get my blood pressure medication refilled on a Friday, they told me to come back on Monday as they did not have it in stock. When I came back on the Monday (now nearly out of my medication) I was told it still wasn't in and they didn't know when it would be available. Instead of suggesting to have this medication temporarily filled elsewhere, I was told to go without or that I should call my doctor and have them prescribe something different--- without knowing my medical history or severity of my condition. Completely unsafe and unprofessional. CVS had this medication in stock. If they had called other pharmacies and suggested to temporarily refill it elsewhere, I probably would have gone back to them but all they care about is the $$$. 2. Even though they didn't have the medication above, they made it a hassle for me to get the above filled at CVS because they had already charged the insurance company for this medication even though they hadn't filled it and was preventing CVS from filling it. 3. When we had originally switched to this pharmacy, we were promised giftcards in the value of our ages ($48 for myself and $49 for my husband). We never received them -- even after asking several times. The owner even said she would "look in the attic" for our records and follow up with us and she never did. 4. I used their contact form on their website and never received a response or even acknowledgement that it was received. 5. I just put a complaint on their facebook page and instead of addressing it, they just deleted it. Because they don't really care about addressing their issues and helping customers, they just want your money. 6. ***Also, they don't warn you about this but if you need controlled substances, like some anti-depressants and pain control medications and it's the end of the month - they probably won't be able to fill them for you because they can only dispense so much of this medication per month and when they hit that amount you're out of luck. I usually will go out of my way to support small businesses, but because of their unethical and unsafe business practices, this is one I just won't be going back to. Maybe I'll get an ice cream there but I certainly wouldn't trust them with my health needs.
