Came here for lunch after Dave's Coffee. The variety of sandwiches you can get here is amazing! It was hard to decide which one to get, but I decided to go with seafood. I got the Bermuda Triangle sandwich, which has sardines and onions on it. Might sound weird to some, but it was really good! Wow! My Dad got the Tunaberry Sandwich. Tuna and berries sounds strange as well, but it was amazing, better than mine! We were amazed! The staff here are also super cool! The owner heard us discussing our roadtrip and started a conversation with us, asking us things like how many states we've been to. It was too cool!
Geoff's sandwich shop has served some of the best sandwiches in Providence for the last 20 years and has been consistently top quality food. They now have a great location right on S. Main St. right next to Plant City. Tonight I had the Rich Lupo sandwich it was fabulous. If you’re in Providence and need a great lunch right up to 6 PM definitely try Geoff's sandwiches. I’m posting menu shots...
My sandwich was good don’t get me wrong. But for $11.99 I was expecting more than a calise bulkie roll. Something like an 8 or 10 inch sub roll would be more appropriate in my opinion. I’m hungry an hour after finishing it. Would have given two stars but the gentleman who cashed me out hooked it up with a bag with 6 or 7 pickles. Still very disappointed with the price per amount of food and likely won’t eat there again.
I am a fan from Benefit St but this visit was disappointing. The wait for my Geoff was way too long and the pastrami was neither lean nor particularly warm for $9.99 a pop. Too bad to see an institution go down hill.
I used to love going to Geoff's but I am very disappointed that they do not have self serve pickles anymore. To me that was the trademark of the restaurant. Like never ending salad and breadsticks at the Olive Garden. I assume it is because of Covid.
Absolutely amazing. The corned beef on my sandwich was some of the most tender and delicious I have ever had. I'd give 6 stars.
Quite the selection of sandwiches! My wife and I stopped in for lunch here and were blown away by the variety of sandwiches at Geoff’s. I went with the Alan Shawn Feinstein (hot roast beef, Swiss & mushrooms with horseradish) and it was delicious. Make sure you ask for the free pickles since they were delicious as well!
Recently started a job in Providence. I have gone to Geoff's several times already. Each time with a wonderful experience. The sandwiches are amazing as is the service. One of the things they are also known for are their pickles, which you can all you want - no charge. Good to take out but also nice to sit in the restaurant.
What an amazing amount of choices of sandwiches! There are so many, they break them down by main meat (or meatless) to make decision easier. The staff couldn't have been nicer!
If you can't find a sandwich here you don't like, you're just being difficult. With infinite possibilities and a menu longer than I-95, there's a sandwich for everyone. Perfect spot for a fairly priced, and excellently tasting lunch. But don't forget to try their pickles!
