Folks who deliver through a service need to stop blaming Francesco’s for the temperature of the pizza. They are not responsible for the timing of deliveries—the app you choose makes that determination. Now, that being said, this is a real family owned Italian American corner pizza place just like you’d find in NYC or Brooklyn. Mom, son, wife, they all take part. The pizza sauce is homemade, tangy and bright like a New York slice with a thin crisp crust that has a nice crusty bread taste. YES—they have vegan cheese! YES—they have gluten free pizza. I suggest stopping in for a slice—no tables inside but there are benches on the sidewalk. Otherwise order a pizza to go and pick it up yourself, and say hi to the folks who work there. Small businesses like this are one of the last places we can really build a sense of community and support—a place like this has honest prices and good food (I have to try the homemade meatballs!) and is worthy of the community gathering around to support them! If you haven’t tried Francesco’s yet, your missing out !!! My go- to is half bbq pulled pork and half very vegan, on gluten free crust - sounds crazy I know - but thank me later! I love that they let you customize anything you need and pay extra attention to detail, which I appreciate as somebody with food allergies… they even called me to double check to make sure it was correct and wouldn’t make me sick! Whether your looking for classic or something creative, they do both and the wings are also fire…. Highly recommend !!
Francesco’s is absolutely delicious. My first time trying Francesco’s i was about 3 weeks postpartum and the last thing i wanted to do was cook. My good friend Steph brought over the general Taos pizza along with chicken wings and fries. The general Taos pizza was like nothing I’ve ever tried before the chicken on the pizza was so tender and frankly my husband couldn’t stop talking about it! If you are in the area definitely stop in and treat yourself to a pie !!
We got a margherita pizza - it was small, over-baked but somehow still soggy, and generally very disappointing. Crust crumbled into black powder when biting into it and the pizza overall was pretty flavorless. Will never get pizza from here again.
This review is based solely on their customer service. I ordered today for the first time, much excited to try a new place. Unfortunately my delivery door dash person decided not to drop off my pizza which i payed and tipped for in advance. Spoke to a nice girl at the store as well as door dash customer service. A few minutes later the owner of the store himself called me. A very nice stand up guy, we spoke for several minutes. I appreciated his concern and general good nature as well as the fact that he took ownership for what happened tho it was not his fault. Next time i will go in person to enjoy my pizza. I suggest anyone thinking about it give this place a try.??
Booo. A friend told me this place was original "Sicilian" pizza. If that's og Italian pizza, no thanks.I waited 35 minutes to get a cold margherita (that's how long online order told me until ready). I honestly couldn't believe that pie left the kitchen; it was cardboard with some chewy mozz. The prices: whoa!! Way outta line. Hey Francesco, just because you're setting up shop on the Eastside doesn't mean you can charge Eastside prices. Hope they learn. RIP pizza gourmet
It’s COLD AF! So I decided to get pizza because well, It makes me feel good. So why not? I had been meaning to try Francesco's Pizzeria. Which looked delectable in the ads I had seen on their social media. Unfortunately whoever delivered the pizza wasn’t courteous enough to ring my doorbell or give me a call to let me know it arrived so it sat outside for a few minutes. (I also tipped 25% in advance) Nonetheless I wasn’t going to let that ruin my experience so I decided to toss it in the oven for a few minutes to warm it up.After a few minutes it came out warm enough to enjoy and review. The toppings I chose were: Pepperoni, Red Peppers, Green Peppers and Banana Peppers with some Ricotta for good measure.I have to say that I did in fact enjoy the pizza and would like to see how it would taste fresh so I’ll likely visit for my next review. The crust was delicious, it was nice and crunchy and had very little flop even after being put through the process of being cooled and then heated. The ingredients were fresh, but I do wish they were more evenly distributed throughout the pie. Besides that a good pizza. 7.3 out of 10.
I am new to the providence area and was told so many great things about Francesco’s that I had to try it for out myself and let me say I wasn’t disappointed!! I ordered the a Chicken Cesar wrap and a plain cheese pizza and both were amazing, dough was super fresh and the Cesar wrap was made to perfection they even added extra croutons for me!! I order from here just about every Sunday now!
My husband and I’s go-to pizzeria ! We love their entire menu, from their calzones, wings and even their fries. They also have cheese and pepperoni slices if you’re on the go! Highly recommend Francesco’s ??
I have lived in RI my whole life and visit NY many times a year for my job so have had my share of great pizza but after trying Francesco's when they 1st opened its has been my absolute go to!! Amazing dough, cooked perfectly nice and crispy and all the specialty pizza's i have tried are fantastic. The customer service and quick service is great! The Jumbo wings are the best I've ever had especially the Lemon Rosemary. This place is a hidden gem and must try!
