Stopped in for some appetizers and drinks. Have absolutely no complaints about either. The food appeared authentic, was reasonably priced (even for Federal Hill), and tasted great. The only downside is that they offered outdoor seating to us, which we assumed would be in the front on the street, but they then took us around back to an overcrowded little spot in the back parking lot immediately adjacent to a bathroom. It was not ideal seating. I'd recommend making a reservation or just sitting inside.
Stopped in here during an off time on a Sunday and it was just okay. Restaurant is decorated very cute and is in a great location on Federal Hill. Had to wait a few minutes at the host stand before someone came out to seat us. Noticed as we were eating that other people coming in also had to wait for the host to seat them, as he was in the back of the restaurant not out front. Our waitress was friendly, but never brought us the two waters we asked for. Food and margaritas were good, and came out quickly, but truly was nothing special and was a lot more expensive than other Mexican food I’ve had. Probably would not come back.
This place has legit Mexican food. We loved our meal and pitcher of margaritas. Def worth stopping at. Outdoor dining was wonderful.
Good portions. Good drinks. Decent prices. They also have valet parking
Literally THE most expensive place I've ever been to. $18 for one dish, $24 for another dish. $7.50 for two rice waters. $11 for an appetizer. The portion size for the main dishes was ridiculously small. The pork was watery and the whole dish was warm and not hot. In the end, the total came out to $78. Complete rip-off. I'll never go there again. I'd rather go to Taco Bell.
I had never heard of the restaurant until my friend mentioned where our dinner reservations where going to be. A group of six of us attended for dinner and although we had a reservation there is a little bit of extra wait. They do require for the entire group to be there in order to sit you down. We ordered guacamole and chips for the table and it was freshly made and delicious! I got the chicken quesadillas and they were pretty yummy as well. I would definitely recommend this place, please note that the inside is pretty cozy and it can get a bit loud with the music so it can be difficult to have a conversation while you’re eating.
Wow!! Spectacular the service here for a friends wedding reception. We met the owner and the cook, and had a marvelous time. When the owner is present in an establishment, the service is always a cut above. The restaurant was full, but they still had more than enough time to take special care of us.
This is a cute little Mexican restaurant in Federal Hill. The ambiance was everything expected and decorated lively. I had two big margaritas and upgraded to top shelf tequila but felt they were lacking a bit and didn't feel fuzzy even though they tasted great. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla which was great. I saw a couple orders of Portuguese style mussels come out and decided to order those... they were delicious but I paid for it a couple hours later and had food poisoning bad.I do not think this was the restaurant's fault, I may have eaten one mussel that didn't open up during the cooking process and didn't realize it when I was eating them. I would go back and give it another try. The service was great and attentive. On street parking is available. Everything I ate was flavorful and delicious.
Poor service it took nearly an hour to get our food and when we did my daughter's seafood soup was cold my food was kind of warm we had to ask for silverware when we ordered our alcoholic drinks they were missing the spicy rim on them when we asked the waiter said that's how they come then I showed her on the drink menu and asked her to bring it in a little container and we would put it in our self's every time we needed something we had to ask her to come not attentive to our table then to top it off for the evening we got the check only to see that $30 had been added for gratuity at that point my daughter asked to talk to the manager who was surprised because they don't put that on the bill unless is a big group of people she then apologized and removed it from our bill now I don't know if they were short staffed
