We were greeted by the owner as we walked in. My daughter picked the bench seats in the lounge which turned this into a very kid-friendly meal! One kid wiggled while the other snoozed, and everyone got to eat. The food is very Mexi-Cali style. Tasty burritos, good cocktails, and even a kid's menu. This is a great neighborhood spot, and we will definitely be back!

After 12mi of biking into Providence I saw Diegos and got so excited wondering if it was affiliated with the Newport location(which I LOVE) and this is their newest spot. We had bikes with us and it was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy the patio and ambiance. Chris our server was so accommodating and allowed us to park our bikes behind where we were seated in the corner to not be in anyone's way. The cocktails are what really excites me with many delicious options. I went with the Bride of Carlos and Bad Larry (SO GOOD)!! I ordered a couple small plates for myself Mini Quesadillas and the Pork Belly Endive Bites which were pretty good. Chris and Daisy provided excellent customer service and were very friendly. The decor is so beautiful and vibrant. If you're driving to this location there's on street parking. There's also cute little shops to walk around and explore the area. Will always come to Diegos for the craft cocktails!

Imagine charging $15 for two tacos with no sides or $14 for chips and salsa. If only they spent as much time on the flavors as they did on the presentation and the decor. Bland bland bland. This is food for rich white people who find salt and pepper too spicy. Bought a $50 pitcher of margaritas and split it with one other person. We both left stone cold sober after drinking the entire pitcher. This place is an absolute joke. All of the food was flavorless, with overcooked and under seasoned meat. The portions were abysmal, and the drinks were watered down. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

The food is fantastic and the service is great. Super nice staff. The Cali burrito is my favorite. Highly recommended!

So I have to say I am really pleased that Diego’s has got its groove back. I was there in June for a disastrous brunch and we left aft 45 minutes of a really bad experience. I mention this as the owner must have cleaned house. I was there on Sunday for brunch and I can not help but to describe the experience as phenomenal. The service - impeccable. It was almost as if the waitress knew when our drinks were almost empty every time. She also had some great recommendations

Came for the RI Food Fights. The drinks were good and the tacos were okay. I'd go again to try some other items.

Came here for the first time for a birthday dinner with my family. Absolutely loved it! The place has such a cool aesthetic and the food is delicious. I had the elotes (street corn) and Shanghai burritos and everything was out of this world.Cherry on top was the staff though. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and they went out of their way to make my birthday extra special. Can't wait to go back!

Food is good. Food quantity was also good. Alcohol prices are ridiculous. For generic draft IPA of 10 oz they charged $12. Usually, 4 pack of that beer is available for $12. And this beer was not exotic as well. Available in any store in Rhode Island. Might not come back to this place.

We were on our way to Red Stripe for lunch when we noticed Diego’s. Sadly we wish we stuck with our plan. My son’s tacos came out with raw meat, my fish tacos were cold and had no flavor and the tortillas were like eating stale white bread, flavorless. We returned the steak to be cooked. I was offered another dish, but the heavy metal music was making me so anxious that we needed to finish and go. My husband did enjoy his burrito, but was disappointed with the flavorless guacamole and salsas. The hostess was kind and offered to take my fish tacos off the menu. We aren’t sure she did because the bill was not itemized. Very expensive food that didn’t taste great. Hope things can change at Diego’s.

Drinks were really nice, n the food was pretty good too
