Hands down the best Korean fried chicken, authentic and yummy! And the service is superb!
It was amazing going here. The food was beautifully presented and was i think priced extremely reasonable. We got two flavors of chicken and both were soo good. We could not stop eating. We also got Korean BBQ chicken and it was delicious as well. I would recommend going here if you are ever in Providence RH.
Food was excellent just not warm enough once served. Orders must not be going out quick enough food was cold. Other than that excellent food excellent service
Fantastic Korean restaurant specializing in fried chicken and Korean BBQ. I have been wanting to come for a long time and finally got around to it, and now that I went I’m sad I waited so long! The menu is relatively small, and they only have two sauce options for the chicken. However, it has all the quintessential items for a Korean BBQ place and the prices are all really great for the portions you get.The service was honestly the best out of anywhere I’ve been in Providence, my water never got below half full even in an almost full restaurant. The food was great, although I did find the dark (soy garlic) sauce a little bland. Very nice presentation on the dishes as well. Definitely a place to check out if you live in Providence!
SUCH good food!! and the wait staff are all pretty friendly and fast. We ordered the fried chicken, both spicy and nonspicy and honestly both are good choices. The cheesy boneless wings were good, but not the best honestly. The stir fry ramen and bulgogi beef were so so good! and we ordered the kimchi pancake which was a delicious app:) Would 100% recommend if youre in the area!!
This place was delicious! We ordered an absurd amount of wings, split between dark soy and the spicy sauce, and both were great. The leftovers heated up well under the broiler at home. We ordered the dumplings with spicy cabbage and the rice cakes, all of which were delicious. This is definitely a new favorite spot!
Delicious appetizers served quick and hot with a variety of sauces. The Korean fried chicken is always reliable and delicious. 10/10! I recommend the fried rice cake, it's crispy and sweet on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside.
Love the fried chicken, kimchi pancakes and potato twister. This place is an all time favorite for dine in as well as take out!
I have been a regular customer here for 5-6 years. Sadly, Den Den on Angell has gone way down hill in the last couple of years. I hate to feel the need to write this, because it used to be one of my family's favorite restaurants in Providence. We would insist on bringing guests from out of town here. The boneless fried chicken was so good that I couldn't control myself and would eat until I was about to burst. But the experience has been so disappointing the last few times I went there, I feel obligated to say something.Last time I ordered boneless wings, half were inedible due to gristle, or being overcooked to the point they were like chewing plastic. Time before that, they were rancid! Management gave us a comp for that one but still. The ramen used to be amazing: rich and complex, but they have clearly changed the recipe several times and now it is mostly chili paste.I can also vouch the service has gone downhill, but don't need to dwell on this as several other recent reviews have mentioned it.The place is still packed, and I am happy for the owners and management being able to still do well off the well-earned reputation they built over the last 5-6 years. Overall the place is still okay, and I get that times are tough right now with inflation, pandemic, etc. But just be aware the high rating is mostly a relic from a once exceptional restaurant that no longer exists.
The amazing food made up for the ambiance being ruined by obnoxiously loud college students. But seriously, amazing food.
