Great coffee bar, fantastic coffee, and nice breakfast food and drinks. Really friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit (especially as we couldn't find anything else open)
Great employees. We came in with a baby car seat all bulky and not sure what to order and they didn’t show a hint of annoyance, super pleasant! The selection was great, coffee was balanced and full, English muffin toasted perfectly (cuz they make them in-house, like what?!), and my sister immediately looked up recipes to recreate the spinach feta scone. Egg was a tinyyyyy bit dry, but I’m not gonna let that keep me down. The carrot bacon balanced it out fabulously
Hi, I am a Rhode Island native and for the first time I decided to try Dave’s coffee today. Ordering was kind of easy. Usually when I go to coffee shops they suggest coffees. The girl in the front suggested a Latte if I wanted and ice coffee. So I did. She didn’t ask for my name so I didn’t think anything of it. I noticed the other customers there were called by name and they were nice to them. When it came to me, they called me by the coffee name. A cold brew. Which was not ordered. Anyway, I still grabbed it and thanked them no biggie , however, they just stared at me like I had 3 heads. Idk. It was just not a vibe lol definitely not mine. I’m sure there’s other cafés near by to try if your in providence.
Overall, their coffee is good. As a daily espresso drinker, I have to say that their espresso-based drinks are not very good (I had the worst cappuccino of my life here). Service is pretty quick, but staff (depending on who’s working) can be rude.
Wish I could give more stars. The atmosphere is so nice and calming. The sandwiches are great. And my go to for the past few years has been the coffee milk latte. When I first came across Dave’s I would commute 40 mins round trip for a cup atleast 4 times a week. Wish I lived across the street. I have brought dozens of people here and have recommended this place to people many times.

reasonable prices. drip (aka quonnie?) is fine, but imo the espresso drinks (aka blind pig?) are what you want to get. has a really nice cherry in the bg. so far my fav coffee in the area

The almond toast was amazing! Also, a tour guide recommended I try their coffee milk. It was really good. The staff was also very friendly and efficient. Even though they were busy, we did not end up waiting long for our order. We will definitely be back.
