I’ve been going to Caserta forever and they’ve always been one of Rhode Island’s best. This rating is more of a 3.5. They managed to survive Covid which is great but the product has taken a hit. The pizza used to fill the box and was thick, in time it’s gotten smaller and smaller. They are definitely using less dough (or I coincidentally have gotten shorted my last 5 visits). The taste is still there and that’s great but I don’t see myself going out of the way to get it like I used to because it’s no longer worth it for me. Still would recommend but it isn’t what it used to be

In all my years of eating pizza, I have never seen pizza like this. The dough was super thick, but not heavy- it kind of tasted like a dinner roll. I would guess that the cheese was entirely mozzarella, which is not a bad thing, I just am not used to it. The sauce, though, was on top of the cheese. And it wasn't consistently spread out either, but left in splotches on the pizza. So weird. Personally, I like my pizza with the sauce under the cheese, but that might just be me. I wouldn't say that the pizza was terrible by any means, just very unusual.

a MUST VISIT in Providence,RI....Their pepperoni pizza, their pepper pigs(sausage and peppers in dough)....Yummmmm

Amazing pie. Can’t wait to come back

Haven eaten all the best pizza in NYC, New Haven, NJ, Philly, CHicago, Boston, and Rhode Island I’d say this pizza is easily in top 5. I like it more now than I did before discovering a bunch of America’s most famous pizza places. For me it sits at #3 behind Lucali in Brooklyn and Pequods in Chicago.

My opinion they have the best pizza in all of New England I think it's a fact at this point. If you want something other than pizza try a pig in a blanket it will be the last pig you ever have

I haven't wrote a review in a while Due to the covid-19 and not getting a lot of take out nowadays. Now having said that I grew up on Caserta's Pizzeria, I can remember when I was 13 years old And my mom's boyfriend Who was Italian Always brought a pizza over When he visited us. Even leaving New England for 20 years( relocated to FL) I always got to get a pizza when I stayed up here During tIf you take pride inIf you take pride in whatIf you take pride in what youhe holidays. Tonight I figured I turn my neighbor on to hem...bad idea. The large pizza isn't even close to what I've been use to over the many years. Totally disappointed the dough wasn't as fluffy Like it used to be it was dense the sauce was basically no flavor to it and I'm usually one to get cheese Or pepperoni pizzas I had a half and half tonight and it was totally disappointing I get it I know that we're going through a pandemic but Quality should never go down Especially with a longstanding company that's made a name for

This pizza and pie in a blanket we're like no other. The dough was soft delicious and had a touch of corn meal feel to it. The sauce was very light and delicious. The cheese blend was amazing. The staff were slammed and it's always busy. They do an amazing job to try and help u get in and out.

love their pizza and wimpy pies. Caserta's is awesome.

Solid reliable way better than average pizza. The sauce is spot on with a touch of acidity that I love. Cheese, Roni, and crust are all great. Grabbed a pepper pig and a spinach pie. The pigs were good. The shape is about a #10 envelope and have a hot sausage (cut down the middle lengthwise) with just a kiss if sauce In them. Very good in my opinion. Spinach pie had half moon crust that was a bit drier than I expected, but had an awesome crunch with just a hint of give to it. I prefer mom's to theirs for level of season on the filling, but this was well worth the price and I will order again the next time I'm in the area.
