Robert our server was great! The restaurant was cute, high quality and offered a great ambience.We payed $45 for two full entrees, drinks and dessert! The Birria Tacos were 10/10 highly recommend them!Overall experience excellent and well worth the $ and time.Fair warning only street parking and a small lot that can hold 3-4 cars on the left. My husband is both allergic and has an intolerance to dairy. This is one of very few places we’ve found where he can actually order a quesadilla without dying! And I can get one with real cheese.Their vegan horchatas are absolutely mind-blowing. I don’t know how they do it.They have a nice Mexican beer selection, and I’m definitely trying a michelada next time.The inside is small and adorable. Robert with the blue eyes was out server most recently and was lovely. Will be back many times and highly recommend you try it out, whether you’re vegan or not.

Found this place on Instagram and was so happy we chose to dine here. I got the Vegan Verde Nachos with HomeMade Vegan Chorizo, every element was perfectly prepared and fresh. My partner got the Birria Tacos and was extremely satisfied with the flavor, portion and Consome. Restaurant was well lit with beautiful natural light and some cute decor! Hosts and servers were attentive and quick. Food arrived fast but was definitely not sitting under a heat lamp! Very happy to recommend this place!
If you’re looking to eat some fresh, delicious Mexican food, this is the spot!You can order to go, but if you have the option to dine in, you won’t regret it. Not only is the space absolutely lovely, the staff is super welcoming and friendly.I really enjoyed Casa Azul - great food and dining experience. I will definitely be back ?
Yuck. Came here with a small group for birria tacos and it was so gross. Everything was super salty and the dipping was basically salted beef broth with onions in it. It left such a gross taste in my mouth for HOURS. Even brushing my teeth and eating something else would not get rid of it. On top of that it gave all of us heartburn (none of us suffer from heartburn regularly!!).I ended up trying the birria torta which was just okay on it's own but disgusting with the dipping "sauce". The tacos were very dry without the sauce. The meat was not great, kind of tasted like it was seasoned with the premade taco seasoning you get from the box of taco shells. We also got a normal quesadilla which is meh. All the meals we got were beef so I can't speak to the chicken, lamb or vegan options, however this food was the furthest from Mexican style food. Taco Bell is more authentic than this place lolThe atmosphere itself is really nice, the decor is pretty and the service was fine. No complaints there, but not enough to warrant more than a 1-star review. It also felt overpriced for what we received. My torta was over ten dollars and it was like the size of a dollar-menu burger. The food looks delicious but looks are not everything.UPDATE: I decided to hike my review up to 3 stars because the customer service has been outstanding since I originally left this review. Thank you for your response to this review and the steps you took to remedy my dissatisfaction. The food here is amazing! Really easy to order online for pickup, the people who work here are friendly, nice atmosphere. It can be difficult to find good vegan options at a Mexican restaurant, but Casa Azul did not dissapoint. We tried the nachos and a few different tacos and it was all delicious, there are so many options left to try, highly recommend!
I moved to Rhode Island from Texas 5 years ago. I feel like I keep trying different Mexican food spots and leave disappointed. Not this place! The food is DELICIOUS! Authentic Mexican food that’s flavorful, fresh, and filling! My coworkers and I loved it so much we are making it a “payday treat” for the 6 of us haha. (Bravo to those who work there and own this establishment. You’re all amazing.)
