You must first understand that the entire point of Capri is to have a good time - to laugh and enjoy the spectacle of the enormous portions, protective gear, and utter state of mess you will be left in.Expect to spend money, expect to wait a while if they’re busy - but don’t worry about any of that. Put the Michelin Stars away and don’t be a restaurant critic - it’s off limits here, and you’ll miss the true joy of Capri. It’s not a normal restaurant or experience. It’s theater. So suit up, break the bank, make a mess, and have a blast. The food IS delicious, btw ?

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Had the mini combo with a sirloin add on and let me tell you it was loaded with lots of deliciousness. packed with lots of flavor Cajun sauce amazing! shrimp, mussels, snow crab legs, sausage, potatoes, corn was very well prepared very juicy nothing was dry. presentation of the dish far exceeded my expectation. I tip my hat to the head bartender and manager vee. this guy went above and beyond as well as his staff to make sure we had the best dining experience. If your looking for a place with great drinks, seafood and hospitality this is hands down the place for that. shaking crab got nothing on this place. As a gourmet cook myself working in fine dinning i know what works and what doesn't and this my friends works at its best. definitely looking forward to have many more experiences at this establishment and feature them on a youtube food channel I'm working on opening sometime this year called grubbin with lulu and you can follow me on instagram cheffingwithlulu where i have started to showcase the food that i cook. spread the word and let's pack this place and make it greater than it already is.

Good value, decent taste, but long wait (they don’t take reservations) Unique restaurant with high quality seafood. Ordered the snow crab+clams combo with Cajun seasoning. I found the sauce to be a tad too salty and oily. Will probably order the ‘healthier’ no butter version next time. The crab was really delicious because the shell protects it from absorbing the salty sauce. It’s good value for a large amount of seafood but perhaps not worth waiting 1hr+ for. Service was good but they are very busy.

Being that Providence has in New England, it should come as no surprise then the seafood of this area is world renowned. That being said, Capri Seafood is one of the greatest Seafood experiences I have ever had and I would definitely return. I spent one night in Providence and it was the one night of my East Coast Journey where I was alone. Obviously I felt a little awkward walking into a semi upscale restaurant asking to be seated having no one else coming to meet me. The staff were very understanding and seated me in a nice area and proceeded to get my drink order. When they returned with my Prosecco, which was good, I ordered a seafood basket crab legs and clams with corn potatoes and sausage in a garlic butter sauce with t h y m e. My snow crab legs were perfect and so were the clams. The potatoes we're right where they were supposed to be in the corn was perfect with garlic butter and Thyme sauce, while the sausage added just the amount of saltiness needed to bring it all together. The staff was attentive, but not overbearing and very courteous. As I said above, this was one of the best seafood dinners I've had in my life, right up there with Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, and I will definitely here again when I return to Providence Rhode Island. I wish you all the best and for your continued success. I guess you could say I highly recommend this place.

Place had really good, service, food, and drinks.

My friends really spoiled me when they took me to this restaurant in RI.

Ordered a mini combo, just the perfect amount for a quick lunch. The flavor of the sauce (Capri Kickin extreme) had my mouth watering after every bite. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY and the choice of music was perfect. Definitely would bring my family here!

We were greeted by a great hostess, who got us seated almost immediately on a busy weekend. The ambiance may not be for everyone, as they play a selection of R&B at a fairly loud volume. I really enjoyed the look and feel of the restaurant, as well as their music selection. I hadn't heard some of those songs in years. Our waitress, Leah, was the best. She was very sweet, attentive and helpful in helping us select our food and drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. Leah even checked on market pricing for a specific dish and returned to inform me that the price was higher than what she originally thought. I sincerely appreciated all of her hard work and attention. We ordered the Cheesy Lobster, along with a half pound of shrimp and mussels in a mild cajun sauce, with potatoes. The food was outstanding. I hope they are paying Leah well because she's a gem. We hope to return in the near future and highly recommend it.
