Tried the steamed mussels, ribs and grits, and blue fish pate with a main of the halibut. We cleaned every plate (it was delicious). The Manhattan cocktail is pretty awesome as well!

It might have been because it was a Tuesday night, but this place felt like a hidden gem! The seating environment is very nice, and the servers were great! The food options are very diverse, and from what we had it tasted amazing! They even gave us complimentary chocolate truffles at the end. I'm definitely gonna come here again!

The chef truly cares about every single dish that goes out of his kitchen. The food is immaculate and mostly local. Great ambience in the restaurant and has outdoor seating. The staff are so friendly and hospitable. Excellent little spot for date night or a night out with friends out for apps and drinks. Highly, highly recommend it.

Food was excellent, price was right. Relaxed atmosphere, interesting entrees. The beets in the beet salad were, in fact, roasted; gnocchi appetizer SO GOOD; our two fish entrees cooked and seasoned perfectly. Almond cheesecake for dessert was amazing, the real deal. We were looking for a place near the Columbus Theatre venue and it was two blocks away so we made reservations, but next time we are in Providence I will go out of my way to eat here again.

Heard about this place a lot when I served on the hill but never tried it until last night. Took my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day and honestly we are still talking about how it perfect of a night it was. Broadway is great because it’s more quiet then the hill with the same great ambiance. Dimly lit and such a cozy, romantic ambience. Had a drink at the bar before we sat. Staff makes you feel so welcome and then the food , oh my god. Started with the ribs and grits because I’ve read such good things about it. Completely agree one of the best appetizers in existence. I got the duck bucatini , my gf got the chicken schnitzel. Strawberry cake for dessert . Everything was unreal. I served quite a few places downtown and the food here puts the rest to shame. Fresh , hot, tasty. I really can’t say one wrong thing. They truly take pride in running this bistro and it’s easy to notice. I will be back time and time again.

OMG this is my absolute favorite restaurant in Providence. The ribs and grits slay me. The bolognese is ridiculous. The chicken schnitzel rocks my world. This is one of those places you can play menu roulette with and never lose.

The food here is fantastic. The cooks are talented. The atmosphere is quiet, hip bistro. It's a small place. You should make a reservation.I've had chicken schnitzel, so crispy. Delicious. Also a fish dish with a pesto. The risotto was cheesy and amazing. This place is easily my go to date night. Glad I checked it out!

Haven’t been to BB in over two years. I had forgotten how good it is! We took our friends from Cape Cod out to dinner before heading to WaterFire. Everything from drinks to dessert was excellent. Our server (whose name escapes me at the moment) was delightful. Will definitely be going back more often! Out friends from the Cape said, “this place is definitely worth the hour and 45 minute drive from the Cape.”

We had been to Broadway Bistro a couple of times 5-6 years ago, but for some reason had not been back in a while, either because we could not get a reservation or just tried other places. Last night we met friends there and had a truly wonderful meal. The wine was a nice crisp Sauvignon Blanc, the appetizers were great. The ribs over grits was very tasty and delicious, the heirloom tomato salad was excellent (often caprese salad tomatoes are tasteless, these were very tasty and very nice), and the aranicini was flavorful and light and the corn salsa it was served with was delicious. Our dinners were equally excellent. I enjoyed my house made bucatini with clams and toasted breadcrumbs, and everyone else at the table enjoyed their mulfaladini, swordfish, and duck breast. It was only 12 hours ago, but I am already looking forward to heading back soon.
