I just had the worst experience of my life at this establishment. I dined in with my 10 year old son and we ordered shrimp nim chow (delicious), scallion pancakes (delicious), sticky chicken wings (just ok) and chicken pad thai (inedible). I told the staff that the pad thai smelled terrible and I couldn't eat it. He told me that it was what I ordered and I should have "done my research". What research? Yes, I understand what pad thai is and I have had it other places. He got upset with me because he said it was what I ordered so it is what it is and he caused a big scene in the restaurant. He told me that he didn't care if I ever returned there. He also proceeded to tell me that no one wants to wait tables anymore anyway and he doesn't care at all. This interaction was uncalled for. I simply told him that I was disappointed that it was inedible but that it was ok and I would pay for it. There was no need for a volatile situation. I'm deeply disturbed that I could be treated so horribly for no reason at all. I didn't deserve the treatment I received from this place. I will never go back here again. It's just so horrible that people can treat each other this way. Please don't support this place because they don't care about you.
I ordered take out through Postmates and picked up the order myself. They missed one of the items. When I called, no one answered, so I called again, they put me on hold for several minutes, the phone started to ring again and no one answered. My boyfriend called and someone quickly answered. They were rude on the phone. I had to go through Uber to get money back. I will not be returning. Definitely would double check your orders.
Great food, it’s so hard to find good Chinese food but this place has great tasting food, not your normal taste I love the way they prepare the food here definitely a must try.
The food is some of the best I have ever eaten
Apsara has pretty solid Thai food at a good price. I have been coming here for over a decade and it seems like they got a new management crew every few years. Definitely not what it was a decade ago but still very solid Thai food and it won't break the bank
Ordered delivery through Uber Eats. I know that you do not get the freshest food when ordering delivery in that way, however the food was borderline spoiled. The general tsos chicken was orange chicken that came with tiny cups of the chili garlic sauce you get in the container with the green lid. The chicken was hard and dry aside from the sauce on the breading. The broccoli was brown on the stems. The beef in the drunken noodles was shimmery and iridescent, which I understand is not an indication of spoiled food, but I have never received meat from a restaurant at such a low quality. The dipping sauce that came with the dumplings tasted like old vinegar and had old scallion rings in it. The food I have received previously from the Aspara Palace on Public St was much better - I don't know if these 2 restaurants are affiliated.
My family has been going here for years and it's a solid staple the food is great we've done both dining in and take out.
it's absolutely wonderful I recommended first class service
I was looking for different cuisine and after reviewing the online menu, I decided to give them a try for take-out. I was looking for Cambodian food, and since they were advertised as serving both Vietnamese and Cambodian cuisine, among others, I thought they would be different. So when I asked about their Cambodian dishes, I was bluntly told by a VERY young staff worker with attitude that "its all the same..." Knowing better, I insisted on Cambodian and so I ordered both the Plear (Cambodian beef salad) and Stir Fried Cantonese Noodle (Cambodian style). Both dishes were rather tasty but her attitude did leave a bad taste for ever going back. They really should just advertise themselves as "Asian" so that they can just lump it all together and treat people with more dignity and respect.
Delicious food and friendly staff!! We got the shrimp dumplings, spicy thai shrimp and the shrimp stir fry. The taro bubble tea for dessert was the perfect sweet treat too ??
