Fun atmosphere! Only had the hot dogs, which were great - the burgers and chopped cheese also looked good. Nice cocktails as well, and friendly bar staff!
Hot dogs are good, but head upstairs to the dedicated bar and order a cocktail from one of the skilled bartenders. Intimate space. Variety of espresso martinis for the win.
My wife and I tried Wally's Wieners while we were vacationing recently in Newport, and we loved it! It's a new place that's a combo gourmet hotdog joint and martini bar...I know it's a weird combo, but it actually works! They have a lot of hotdog styles, but I chose the simple wiener with mustard, relish, and onions with a side order of chili cheese fries. Both were very good with the wiener having a good flavor with a hint of garlic taste. My wife had the burger, which she raved about. Lastly, I decided to try the espresso martini and which was also very good. Wally's Wieners will now be a regular spot for us to eat when we head to Newport.
Great local attraction with cheapish eats. Loves the weiner varieties. Great craft beer list too. Fries were great. Kids were happy.
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is deserving of one. The food is amazing! We met the owners and they were great. The servers & bartender were on point! If you are in Newport and hungry, definitely try Wally’s Weiners!
Such a delicious menu! Special shout out to Kiernan who took such great care of us from the moment we walked in til the moment we left. She is the definition of going above and beyond. What an asset to this company! Also Zach is a great manager! Will absolutely be back
The Chili Cheese Dog was very tasty. Good onion rings too. This is a very casual place with great hot dogs. Good service. Funky wall decoration.
Great service and atmosphere! Went for lunch and had the Wally Dog and Crab Fries. The dog was do die for the sauce was great and the bacon and onions was a perfect addition! Crab Fries were seasoned very well. Only downside is the cheese sauce that came with thr fries was a little clumpy. However that might be a personal preference. Overall terrific little lunch or dinner spot! Very laid back atmosphere tucked into the middle of a busy area like Thames street.
Good service, expensive beer, indifferent food. Your basic drunk chow. The “Wally sauce” is just a ketchup-mustard mix. Country music might keep the crowds down. Ben’s Chili Dogs on Broadway serves better wieners at half the price.
Visited the new location! Busy spot, good food, friendly place!
