The waterfront venue boasts a harbor view obscured by Mega-yachts. The menu was scanty but had some interesting Fair. We tried the Wagyu steak which was purposely not served with a steak knife, which was dissapointedly difficult to cut. I was very tender in spots, but contained some gristle. The sides were basic and boring. The halibut was very nice but cut in inconsistent portions from too small to large. It's sides were one starch and a small garnish of mango salsa. Nothing to write home about. The service was excellent but a bit inexperienced.

We were placed in the bar after asking for outdoor and or seating in the dining room when making the reservation one week ahead. The young man who seated us abruptly gave us a âthis is all we have response.â Bar was loud, hot and not a good room if you are looking to have a dinner. It is in a nice location, but not the same value as the restaurants closer to Bowenâs wharf.

We often visit Newport and have come to this restaurant often over the years. Ever since they changed the menu and the atmosphere to accommodate a lot more people, I feel the menu is limited and way over priced for the quality of food. They have such a great view but I feel like we are sitting in a temporary tent at a fair. They should up the outside ambience if they are going to have astronomical pricing for food that is only fair.
Well, let’s talk about this place. I’m from Massachusetts got here for lunch. The Hostess said: we don’t take walk in ppl, there is another restaurant across the street and everything here needs to have reservation.I saw so many table with nobody. I checked online and I make my reservation for 20 minutes ahead. Why the hostess did not ask me to make it online? Why did not care about us and invited us to go to another restaurant? Bad customer service. Zero star for them!Brianna was our server today, absolutely amazing. Very friendly, helpful, smiling. She make our experience better. Great service, view of the water with wonderful service. Food was excellent! Hostess was on top of everything right from the start. Noise was low, considering there were several wedding parties. we will be regulars here! :)
Unaccommodating hostess made us walk out on reservation. A simple table move was asked for a rudely denied.
We were only able to make 2 reservations for 5 people and they were able to combine both for our entire party of 10 with ease of high was much appreciated. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be back!
They're clearly still struggling a bit with wait staff. Our server was struggling to keep up and a table that was seated after us with another server had their food before we had our drinks and their check before we had our food. The meal was fine, and we weren't in a rush, and our waitress was apologetic for her situation, but sitting for 20 minutes without drinks made the evening less enjoyable than we planned.
