The smell of the grill brought us into the restaurant. Great good, we've been back twice on this trip.

Had an incredible dinner last night. After traveling from NY for hours, we stopped here a half hour before they closed. Our server was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating even being the last table.
I was a bit surprised by how good the reviews are, as we had a disappointing experience.We came here for New Year's Eve. The place was a lot more crowded than they had indicated, and they weren't checking vaccination status despite saying they were. This was a bit concerning because the crowd next to us were definitely anti-vaxxers based on their conversations.The beer menu is lackluster--not really much in the way of craft beers aside from a couple options.Appetizers were good--we ordered the lamb poutine and the lobster bisque. Could have been more lobster in the bisque and it was very salty. The poutine was delicious and had plenty of meat and gravy.The entrees were terrible. I ordered a NYE special: beef wellington. The puff pastry breading was so doughy that it had the consistency of melted cheese. The beef wellington had absolutely no flavor (one of the first times I have had to ask for salt). It had not been prepared like a true beef wellington. It came with brussel sprouts of which about half of them were cooked and the other half were still crunchy. It also came with carrots which were tasty, but were laying on a bed of dried out mashed potatoes. Absolutely terrible for a $38 entree. I could have paid $1 for a Hot Pocket and enjoyed it more (they looked the same).My girlfriend ordered the short rib, which came out extremely dry and with barely any gravy to offset the dryness. She was also disappointed with her entree.Service was pleasant and prompt, but I do not plan on coming back here. This was $140 of disappointment. We left earlier than we planned to and went to a local brewery instead.
Our hostess Jasper was super friendly, lamb poutine was amazing and they had an awesome selection of mocktails as well as craft cocktails! We will be back!

Nice dinner spot away from the hustle and bustle of downtown with friendly service. Small menu and the food is decent. Good drink menu.
Lamb poutine and short ribs were incredible. Every bite was better than the last. If you're away from America Cup avenue and Thames street, this place is definitely worth going too.
