Awesome place. Their manager Reggie is incredible. Great drinks, food, atmosphere and perfect for wedding parties.

This was the first time we visited The Deck. Staff was attentive; drinks and food came out fast. Food prices were reasonable and we had a great meal. Jazz band performing was fabulous! It was a festive evening and we will be back.

Very disappointing experience for us. There was hardly anyone there and we were told because we don’t have a reservation we had to sit at the bar…. Not usually a problem for us but it was a bit chilly and all the heaters were on the other side of the tent. They claim that they are a “Fine Dining” restaurant…. I don’t think so. We ordered seafood chowder and it was full of canned tuna … pretty gross. Our bartender Ken was ok but not very attentive, and none of the other staff even bothered to look at us. There was this young waiter behind the bar and he appeared to be as miserable as the seafood chowder. We will never go back

the bartenders are great

The service was extremely slow and when the food came out it was cold as if it was just sitting in the kitchen. Not cheap! With all the great spots in Newport, we won't be coming back!

Chef Derin your food is delicious!! Bone on filet with lobster was amazing!! My family and I love this place!! Staff is view was fabulous and very accommodating. We enjoyed the fire pits outside and the gorgeous views. Looking forward to visiting again soon and often!!

Plenty of places to go choose somewhere else. Long wait with no customers. Rude waitstaff. More then half hour before order was taken.

Terrible food terrible service! Came to enjoy a nice dinner with my family by the water and it was the total opposite. After reading all the horrible reviews I still wanted to give it a shot but that was a big mistake. Food was already cold by the time it came to the table. We waiting 10 minutes to get our silverware AFTER the food was already brought to the table. They forgot our refills and waitress was never to be found. Tables around us were also getting the same crappy service. The “band” was a love DJ plying loud club music at 4pm. I normally don’t leave bad reviews but for the price you will be paying at this place it’s worth the warning. Terrible service and terrible food!! I will NEVER go back!

We order 2 fish n chips, 2 Lobster roll 1 hot 1 cold and appetizers. When waitress served Lobster roll my husband asked her which one is hot, then she touch with her fingers to checked the temperature. WHAT?? I immediately ask her, how you touch customers food with your finger. Then she said "oh, I have gloves on" Who knows what she did with her gloves...... And I found the hair on my plates. I could be a nastiest customer but I don't want to embarrassed my family. So unprofessional...... Never go back there Negative 0 star.....

We came here after some rememberence events for my late uncle (he loved Dockside). Unfortunately we were asked to go through an empty queue (which brought us back to where we started. Then we were sat by the water, which was plesant, and told "the server will be right with you." Other servers, hosts, and bartenders were busily cleaning tables and seating patrons (who were not recieving service). At one point we asked around and not one person had been greated. A host came to clean a table and we were compelled to ask, "servers do work here right?" To which she replied cordially, "yes they do" and went to the bar. She told the bartenders, whom all looked up at us, then turned around and continued to work on whatever they were doing. The restaurant wasnt even busy....As someone who has spent 15+ years in hospitality and food & beverage, at every level, I can honestly say this was the worst service I have had in over a decade. I have only walked out of one restaurant in my life. This would be the second. Zero stars, 2 thumbs down, would not recomend.
