It was amazing! The staff was wonderful and the view was just perfect!
Entire experience was 5 star. I cannot imagine a better location and views in Newport. Hotel, room, staff and food were all first class. we were guests for three days and were addressed by name by every staff member. Attention to detail was everywhere.
We have stayed at many hotels in Europe and the US, but the Chanler goes above and beyond! The entire staff is amazing, rooms are all beautiful, food is delicious, and the setting is so relaxing. Love, too, that it's only a drive for us!
We had a great stay at The Chandler including a great dinner on the Terrasse of „The Café“ with great views of the ocean and landscape. Each room in the hotel is individually designed with much love to the detail. Our host Rorbert Reitknecht made sure that we always felt like at home (Thank you, Robert!).
Our stay at the Chanler was nothing short of spectacular! Everything was done to make our stay magical and memorable. The hotel and staff made us feel Royal and very important. This trip will be remembered for years to come.
Had dinner for four at the cafe. Service was very slow. It took a long time for drinks to arrive. When food started arriving. Bread and spring onion soup was great. But the pasta was very salty. I had the red miso garganelli(38) another family member had the lobster and scallop pasta(55) both disarming salty. The burger was messy. Not in a down home delicious kind of way. In a this was not assembled well kind of way. My patty kept sliding off the bun, kind of way. Not appealing. It was also cut in half....allowing all the juice to run everywhere. For the price I would expect a lot more. View was tremendous.
I cannot say enough about the Chanler to accurately convey my satisfaction. The entire staff was I felt was truly caring and attentive. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was delicious as well. I would definitely return.
From our immediate arrival to our departure, we had a wonderful experience. The entire staff was nothing but professional. Customer service at its best ! Simple touches go a long way, from the delicious cookies and candy awaiting us in our room, along with a handwritten note welcoming us. The location is perfect ~ the beginning of the Cliff Walk is just down a flight of stone steps from the property and you cannot forget the water views !
Prepare to be pampered by the entire staff. The rooms are spotless, beds are very comfy, the food is not only exception, clean, healthy and tastefully done. Every single staff member is professional offering exceptional service. I am so grateful.
Our stay at the Chanler was amazing. We felt like VIP! Luxurious accommodations, delicious food and unique dining experience at the Cara. Excellent location, we were able to enjoy the Cliff Walk and mansions by foot. Superior service, will definitely visit again!
