Came here for dinner with 9 girls for a bachelorette party. We sat at a big comfortable booth inside which was great! Server Joe was fantastic! All the food came out together and tasted so good! As a first timer I will return.
I would love to be able to comment on the drinks or food but we didn't get a chance...I stood at the bar for 10 minutes and was ignored so I figured we figured we try getting seated. They sat us down, gave us menus and then we were again ignored for another 20 minutes, we'll not totally ignored, the 5 staff that were standing around and talking to each other kept looking over at us, but I guess none of them wanted to take our money so we left.We gladly walked down the street and gave someone else our money. And for the record, this was a Thursday afternoon not like peak hours on a Saturday night.Highly would not reccomend...
My wife and daughter each had two glasses of wine at the outside pavilion bar. Cashed out and paid bill of maybe...$30. My daughter wanted to celebrate and bought two mixed drinks. While closing her bill, she noticed the previous wine was on her bill and she was charged $75 dollars for the two mixed drinks. The same bartender took every order. Bartender said he did not know how this happened and seemed out of sorts. I think because he got caught by increasing the bill.
Our server Amanda was amazing! Excellent drinks and food as well. Situated in the heart of downtown Newport offers plenty of water views, people watching and shopping downtown.

Spent a nice Sunday afternoon on the patio. Great atmosphere with good food and drinks were good and the entertainment was excellent. The Dee Jayne Duo can really perform!
We were a large party and therefore had to be seated indoors. Other than not being able to sit outside, our experience was very good. Our server was great and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend Surf Club.

Had a fun time and the waiter was easy going, on top of service and accommodating when we added another person to our party.
