My cookie dough ice cream had one tiny piece of cookie dough in it. The cones are the cheap Joy brand. The scoop was tiny. I was very disappointed that we didn't choose a different ice cream shop. We went to Sprinkles for the location but won't choose them again. Seems like they capitalize on the location with cheap, over-priced products.

After getting our fill of Lobster in Newport we moved on to ice cream. We found Sprinkles on the wharf and ordered an Afogatto. What is an Afogatto you might ask? Only the best ice cream with a kick you will ever have. It’s 2 scoops of ice cream topped with a double shot of espresso. We picked Sinful Chocolate and sinful it was. Dark and creamy topped with espresso. Tip: I would order this during the day or you might end up staying up later than you planned. If you love coffee or any kind this is what you need.
Stopped at Sprinkles Ice Cream on 09/17 at 1:10PM to treat my wife to some ice cream, and the gentleman working at the stand on the wharf was sound asleep. We waited a few minutes to see if he would wake up, but he kept sleeping. So we went to Kilwin’s Chocolates and Ice Cream across the street (262 Thames Street) where the ice cream was delicious and the staff there was awake and perky. This was some of the best ice cream we have ever had. So sleep well to the man at Sprinkles Ice Cream. Hopefully you are dreaming of having a sundae from Kilwins!! Your friend, Stephen from Boston
I ordered a simple chocolate shake. It was very good. Nothing exciting to review, but I would recommend.
Located right in the heart of Bowen's Wharf near the restaurants and shops, Sprinkles will serve you up a nice dessert after a meal at one of the restaurants.
I’ve cream is pretty good. It depends on who’s putting the sprinkles on top- some people give you a lot ?...some of them don’t ?If you love sprinkles make sure you specify that you want a TON of sprinkles, otherwise you might get shorted.
My husband and I really enjoyed the ice cream here at Sprinkles! I had maple and he had raspberry. The ice cream was very creamy and delicious.
Sprinkles is a delicious ice cream spot In Bowens Wharf. The ice cream is fresh and there are some great flavors. I love moose droppings
