I'm speechless about this amazing place. I went with my brother-in-law and his wife, and of course with my wife who was her birthday and it was unforgettable. Our host was Yomaira ?? she rocks. We ordered one (Caesar salad) 100% recommended it was FANTASTIC, Caesar dressing was homemade. Two entrees (Parmesan Fried Eggplant with homemade marinara sauce WOW! and Burrata with arugula and cherry tomatoes) DELICIOUS.Lobster Ravioli THAT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD the BEST dish of that night for sure. Lasagna for my wife, she was happy because it's her favorite dish. Chicken parmesan with Alfredo sauce, and for me Napoli pasta portobello mushrooms and pink sauce THAT WAS LIT.For cheers two bottles of MOSCATO PEACH. ?I'll come again FOR SURE.Thanks Sardella's for being amazing.

Very good Italian food here. The wait staff is on the ball , we had the chicken parm. and seafood Italian dishes. Simply the best we have had in a while. Eat here and enjoy!!!

We have been here before. Always amazing food. Never disappointed. Sam r server was very thorough w/choices & very attentive!! A great smile!!Our food came out hot & tasted amazing! One of our favorite restaurants when we visit RI!

Love the staff, the Italian food is awesome, wood burning fireplace during the colder evening, Sangrias - just amazing, and now they've added a Jazz night on Wednesdays, so will be experiencing that tomorrow evening, starting @ 7. This has always been my favorite Newport Italian restaurant, been coming here for over a decade, and hasn't changed - a "To Do" list on your next pass thru Newport.

Excellent Italian food and service. Great location. Lovely ambiance. Acoustics a little loud. Good value/prices. Highly recommended

My wife and I tried this restaurant while visiting Newport. Without reservations, we were showed a nice table immediately, in a fairly crowded restaurant. The service was good our waitress brought us hot rolls soon as we sat down. Later found a candle when she overheard us talking about our anniversary! My wife ordered Veal Parmesan, I ordered veal piccata! Our meals were excellent. We had a very pleasant dining experience! The price was reasonable; The first the best restaurant to day trip to Newport, R.I.

This Italian restaurant was recommended by our Inn during our three day stay in Newport R.I. We went there without reservations and seated within minutes in a fairly crowded restaurant. This restaurant has nice vibes and friendly. Service was good. Our server immediately brought us warm rolls. And when she overheard our conversation about an anniversary she found a candle for our table to make it more romantic! My spouse ordered Veal Parmesan, I ordered Veal Picatta. Our meals were delicious. We had an excellent dining experience! I thought it was a pretty good value for the price.

We came here based on a recommendation from our Uber driver. it is a very busy location so you should call and get a reservation, especially during the peak hours. The tables are pretty close together so you do feel a bit like you are sitting on top of our neighbors. The service was friendly, but we did seem to wait a long time for our meal. The food was okay, the pizza was a bit overcooked and the Bolognese was pretty standard. The eggplant parm was the best of the three meals we tried. I would say we would try this place again, but perhaps for lunch and when it is a bit quieter.

It was good overall but bc of Covid everything on the table was individually wrapped and it was very unappealing. Also they were stretched for servers so there was a bit of a wait.

When making the reservation I informed the restaurant that it was my husbands 50th birthday dinner. We came in and the hostess was no where to be found. Once she came back she never even gave me a chance to speak, she asked my name and off we went. She took us to the worst table in the restaurant. High traffic area, near the glass doors that lead to the kitchen and bathrooms. We couldn't even hear each other. The food overall was good. Dessert was overpriced, $9.50 for two tiny cannoli's and one biscotti. The server was very nice. But I was extremely disappointed with our table and the lack of any acknowledgement of my husbands birthday. Why ask when making the reservation if you will not even try to give us a decent table? Defiantly not worth it, I wish I had reserved somewhere else, absolutely ruined my husbands birthday dinner.
