My wife and two young children were sitting outdoors when my dad and brother came by with their dog. A very loud patron who had a much bigger dog yelled racist rants and cursed at my dad/brother as they walked by. This person has been imbibing in front of the bar/outdoor area for a while and the waitstaff were interacting with him and the dog so he was clearly someone they knew. It was appalling to me that instead of intervening and/or apologizing to us they simply just stared at us but looked away upon eye contact. It was clearly a horrible and embarrassing situation but much moreso for my family than anyone else. I have two young kids, 6 and 4, and for them to witness such racist behavior while on vacation was truly disappointing. While I love craft beers and this place seemed like it'd be good I just can't support a place that stands idly by when they see such racist and outlandish behavior taking place right in front of their business and in their outdoor dining area. But, hey, maybe Pour Judgement is okay with that kind of racist behavior.
Stopped here for a drink and midday snack. Great little place. The chicken nachos we ordered were absolutely fantastic. And the beer list is AMAZING with over 100 listed. If you are a beer lover, this stop is a must.
Good good and a friendly place to eat on your own ?
My sisters and I had a wonderful lunch at Pour Judgement while visiting Newport. The service was fast and friendly. They had outdoor seating and some people were eating outside but it was windy and chilly so we chose to eat inside at a high top table.The food was outstanding! My sisters had burgers and onion rings which they said were delicious and I loved the blackened cod burrito and house made French fries. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for lunch.
Want to recommend but also want to keep it a secret. This place is one of the best in Newport for food, beer and great music. Staff are top notch and while it has a local vibe the place is welcoming to anyone that wanders in.
With over 50 beers on tap and top notch food and staff, Pour Judgment is a must try for anyone looking for a fantastic experience.!

This place is the best place to have amazing food, if you are in New Port just go. The staff is always upbeat and very knowledgeable. They have an extensive menu, specials that are always changing and one of the best wine and beer selections. The owner is super nice and you can see how much he cares and trains his people to insure you have a great time. Every time I am in Newport I stop in and after 50 plus visits I have never been disappointed.
Our favorite Newport pub eatery. Seriously upscale and delicious food for a pub plus a great pour selection. Its a regular stop for us.
Don’t be fooled by the description of this place, it being a pub and grill. The food is amazing here. Nice little cozy place, very busy, good drink suggestion by the bartender and just amazing food options and taste. We ordered the shrimp Thai curry with fried wontons as the appetizer, and the salmon blt and pasta with cheese sauce as the main entrees. Oh soooo goood.
