Admittedly, only two of us actually had pasta in this restaurant. However the dishes we had were beautifully prepared, and the service was very friendly. This place is clearly popular. Accordingly, reservations are essential.
The restaurant was nice, the waitress was great and the pasta was good. However, we ordered a salad consisting of 2 stalks of romaine lettuce, roasted warm with bacon, onions and feta ($16!). The lettuce was full of dirt! From the stalk about 3 inches up. It was just awful and crunched horribley like eating dirt when we took a bite near that section. We opened it up and showed the waitress who showed the cook who refused to own it!! He said it was from roasting the lettuce!! The top outside was indeed tossed and tasted nice, but the inside leaves were FILTHY!! Do NOT order salad from this restaurant unless you like eating dirt!!
PB was on Bellevue and we had to walk up the hill (past At. Mary’s church) the Resturant is adorable. The staff friendly, we love Clare our server and the food was reasonably priced and good.

Such a surprise for a downtown restaurant. We've eaten at several downtown Newport restaurants and just been underwhelmed repeatedly. Their clam pasta was so perfectly cooked with lots of clams, garlic, and just packed with flavor. Went with a group of ladies and everyone was really happy with their choices. I actually would return here for this pasta again!
Great Italian restaurant. It is hard to find authentic Italian food. Here you will find it. Owned by real Italians. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is always full or fully booked which also speaks for itself regarding the food. The atmosphere is also pleasant.

We just love Pasta Beach. Nice smaller restaurant with amazing bread, great food and desserts. Also very close within walking distance from Hotel Viking.
Excellent cozy and quaint restaurant in the heart of magnificent Newport! The service and food was top notch, my friend and I will be sure to come back in the spring when we head down to do shopping and the cliff walk! This trip involved seeing the magical breakers mansion, and the spectacular light show!
