Cute quiet place. We had our first NE lobster rolls and they were tasty. I’m not sure if everything in Newport is priced this high, but this felt like a safe place to get a roll at some reasonable prices. But ours (in May) were $38 a piece. It is also technically a sit-down place, so after the tip for just our rolls (which come with lays chips and a tiny thing of slaw and pickles), our bill was just under $100. I would expect this from a more fancy sit-down place but this place felt way more casual. Idk.
Service was outstanding. And the food was really good. A bit pricey but honesty it was worth it. Try the clam chowder. It was very good.
The food was amazing. Make sure to order the wings as soon as you can because it takes a while for them to cook. I was the only one in the restaurant on a very cold day. The wings heated me up quickly though.
We had a great lunch here and we’re very happy with the amount of lobster on the lobster roll. The server was taking care of the whole restaurant and was great and we really enjoyed chatting with her.
Rolls are good but overpriced. It costs $34 per lobster roll.
Someone brought me a chicken sandwich from this kids restaurant and I felt like I had food poisoning. I was sick for days. Definitely will never eat here again. Also the lobster roll was mediocre and like $25 bucks. Waste of time. Wouldn’t recommend eating here. Not in a million years. The kid who owns this restaurant is pretty cocky and has a little bit of a attitude problem. Must be pretty tough to grow up in Fairfield County with all that money.
The lobster roll was wayyyy overpriced but tasty. Is not worth the money and the hype though. The place is cute and service was great.
They’re at Spacecat brewing today, had duck sauce wings and beef skewers….both amazing ???
Great spot to grab a roll. The lobster roll and the brisket roll where supreme. Very cozy setting and friendly staff. We had a great time and would definitely repeat it if we are lucky to be back again in Portland
Going to be a relatively short review compared to most. I was in the area and needed a quick bite to eat before an event. Ordered online and the website was pretty easy and simple to use.The food was almost perfectly portioned for a single serving. The website gave an estimated finished time which seemed to be pretty accurate. Food itself was amazing. Crispy french fries. Everything in the taco was amazing. Flavors all went great. The price was a little on the high side but with the quality of food and location of downtown Newport I'd say it's normal. The inside of the restaurant has a small dining area for dining in. The hostess greeted me when I came in and was super polite.Overall I'd definitely try Knot Norms again if I was in the area and would recommend it to anyone.
