Beautiful and delicious cupcakes. Also have frosting and cake shots which are a fun twist when you don’t want to commit (or want the calories) of a full cupcake. Had good shakes as well - we tried the coffee and chocolate ones. Coffee selection is limited (decaf, regular, or French vanilla with no real add options) but excel in their speciality areas.
What a fun place! The cupcakes are super tasty so of course we had to go back again! There were dozens of varieties and the decorations were stunning. Most of our party couldn’t make up their minds but the staff was super patient and helpful. Got go and try one, but don’t be surprised if you walk out with more !
We wandered into this place after walking around Newport, and it had the best cupcakes I have ever had in my life. My family liked a bunch of different ones, but I swear if you try the Hostess with the Mostest, you will have had the best in the world.
Really disappointed. The shop smells wonderful and the cupcakes look delicious but the quality was poor. The yellow cake with chocolate icing… The cupcake tasted fresh even though it tasted like a box cake mix, but the lump of icing on the top was hard, crusty, and crunchy. I ate the cupcake within a few hours after purchase so it’s not like it sat out anywhere. The hostess type cupcake was marginally better, probably because it did not have an inch and a half of hard icing on top of it, but still tasted more store-bought than cupcake bakery. I wasted $16 on 4 cupcakes that were more or less thrown away because the icing was so hard.
Pastries and desserts looked great but we went in for ice cream. They couldn’t do a soft serve twist for my wife, they dropped one of the cones and there were barely any sprinkles on mine. Much better ice cream places in Newport down the street.
Stopped here for a sweet treat while walking Thames Street. It was crowded inside, bought cupcakes to go and ate on a bench outside. And we’re they good!!!
Disappointing, the Boston Cream cupcake was dry with very little filling. I actually think it was stale. The frosting star on the top had hardened.The chocolate(Hostess) was a bit better. I have had other gourmet cupcakes and this one did not come close.
Great order online experience. The staff was great; the location was clean and nice. The only drawback is that the cupcakes are of the supersweet variety. With the canned fillings, and Duncan Hines leaning cakes and frosting. Beautiful decorations, though.
Selections were very good. They had several GF items. They came in 2nd place on cupcake wars on the food network. I got the delicious raspberry surprise cupcake.
Like the colourful cupcakes here you get with animated faces.They have minions and flavours of chocolate, vanilla, and butterscotch.If you ask them they can suggest you the best or even the flavour of the day. It’s a nice place to. Have some sugar rush time since the cupcakes are fresh and buttery and soft as it melts inside the mouth.There are few parking spots opposite the store which if you’re lucky you’d find. But if you’re in Rhode Island you must go here and have some of their tasty sweet cupcakes.
