First time here and had a fantastic experience. Outdoor seating area is adorable, indoor is eclectic and cozy. Staff is very friendly, and they know the locals by name. The music is such a fun mix, it really creates quite the vibe for this café. I had a dirty chia latte with oatmilk and it was delicious. I'm very picky about chia and this did not disappoint. For food I ordered the cowboy scramble, which was eggs, ham, bacon, onions and jalapeños with pepper jack cheese over sourdough bread, topped with salsa and sour cream with a side of potatoes. Everything was fresh and seasoned well, and the portion size was definitely generous. I would absolutely recommend stopping here for breakfast! You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful Irish burger with shoe string French fries was excellent. My wife enjoyed the strawberry salad with chicken. What a great restaurant! Very busy here but well worth the short wait.

We came here based on a friend's recommendation, and were so impressed that we came back here again the next day. Even though it's a super busy restaurant, we were seated fairly quickly both times after a short wait, and food was fresh and delicious. I had the California Benny the first day and the whole grain pancakes the second day, and my husband tried the Irishman omelette and the West Coast breakfast burrito, and everything was absolutely amazing! There's outdoor seating, which is nice in warmer weather. I especially loved the home fries.
This was a great location! My husband amd I stopped here for breakfast. EXCELLENT service, AMAZING food! We will definitely be back. Vegan options, BYOB. We had mimosa with their fresh squeezed OJ... and cappuccino to die for!You must see and try it!
We found our first morning and visited three more times while in Newport for a week. The staff is friendly and efficient; food was always hot and tasty. The portions are huge so beware you may want to split. The Blueberry pancakes were delicious!
This was a favorite go-to but the past two days have me wondering, what happened? We ate breakfast there yesterday and the server gave us our bill without our credit card. It had been dropped and she never noticed. A ten-minute search ensued and it was found underneath something. We return today at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, ordered asap and at 8:37 still no food. All the tables around us are being served and they arrived after us. The worst part is that the server doesn't even notice that we have nothing. When we ask about it she then tells us she is as surprised as we are that we do not have food. And the kitchen must have messed up, Hello, doesn't she work here? I then go inside to tell them, we just want to pay for our drinks and leave. They all ignore me and the hostess tells me she will be with me in a minute. We are cold, hungry and still receiving terrible service. I announce I will come back later and pay. The hostess follows us out and tells us they are preparing our food nd we can have it to go for free. By the time we walk it home it will be cold. No thank you and no thank you to ever eating breakfast there again. We have bought numerous friends and family here and are totally appalled at this shabby service two days in a row.
Good service and great breakfast
I had read about the Corner Café on Tripadvisor and it had great reviews so I wanted to make sure we checked it out. So glad we did! It’s a cute smaller place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was warm and welcoming. We got there at 7:30 and got a table right away but within 15 minutes of us arriving there was already a wait. I had read that it gets very busy so that’s why we went early . My husband created his own omelette and I had eggs Florentine. Both of our breakfasts were delicious , fresh and hot. The home fries were outstanding and the coffee was also very good! I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good breakfast place!
