We had friends in town and decided to take them to Bowens, everyone loved their food, it was all excellent! Our server was great, good recommendations for food and drinks.
First choice of entrees not available. Asked for second choice (Filet Minion) medium rare. Was cooked on the done side of medium. Good quality, just a little disappointed.
Loved our afternoon lunch yesterday! The burger was delicious, as was the fish and chips and Cubano sandwich. We sat outside so the atmosphere was perfect! My only complaint was the Bloody Mary. It was kind of watered down and tasteless. But we'll be back!
The food and cocktails were excellent. We were seated outside as requested. Our server Zach was professional and attentive. We sat by the pier and enjoyed the sea breeze and people watching.

It took over an hour for our food to arrive. My parents and I ordered our steaks medium rare and they arrived well done.

We ate lunch outside this week. Gary, our server, was great! Very attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu. Down side: Was disappointed with the bloody mary...seems it's a watered down version of what I would expect, still tasty but not the best. Also the charcuterie board was not up to par--took approx 20 minutes to serve...had a large pile of roasted pork at room temp (weird), pickled green beans with red onion, very small blue cheese and cheddar cheese pieces, some kind of raisin chutney? ( I didn't try that), raw honey (delicious!) and the bread portion was a cranberry bread roll cut in pieces (prefer the usual plain baguette). Pasta appetizer was very dry, would not order that again. Upside: Service!! Gary was great. Atmosphere great! Boiled 2 lb lobster with fries, delicious! Clam Chowder--great!
