What an excellent meal. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. I had the eggplant and it was out of this world. The portion sizes were very big and their was plenty for the next day. I would definitely recommend this establishment.
I have been a customer of Pats for many years. I stopped coming when COVID hit. We got take out a few times and it was awful, I chalked it up to the fact that it was take out and they were short staffed. Never got take out from there again. So tonight we went , in person, for dinner. It was AWFUL!!!!! The mushrooms were bland and tasteless, the mozzarella wedges were chewy like bubble gum, my lobster ravioli was so fishy I couldn’t eat it. HORRIBLE!!!! I returned the whole entree minus half of a ravioli. We will NEVER go back there again. I think they are becoming very ignorant and think they have a good product, which they no longer do.In addition, the owner was very very rude. We had 7:00 o’clock reservations and arrived at 5 minutes to 7. The owner says I will have to hold you to 7 o’clock reservation. But, I will note you are here. What? Five minutes early.You know this place is going downhill it is a Saturday night and it was half empty.You lost a once good customer!!!
PATS IS AN ITALIAN HIGH QUALITY, LONG TIME FAMILY ICON IN 3 RI LOCATIONS. I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE.
Took my fiancée and her mom out for dinner. Very accommodating, helpful and friendly staff. Food was great.
Very disappointing, Coventry was not like Johnston, first a real Italian restaurant serves bread and oil. Ask for it and had to make our own. Found a long hair in our calamari. Said something so it wouldn’t happen to anyone else. Still paid for it. Second time going asked for chicken parmigiana and eggplant with chicken came out. Start eating it then realized something else was in it, they did not want to adjust and bring another meal with just chicken. I’m all set with this restaurant and not sure if I will go back to Johnston anymore.
