My wife and I only had drinks, I had a Mai Tai. My wife had a glass of wine. The bartender was great and very attentive. The restaurant is very clean and everyone there seemed friendly.
What a GREAT place! Took family (very kid friendly) . Best Asian inspired food in Rhode Island! General Tao with fried rice / ordered it extra spicy . Amazing! Will be going back !
My mother and I used to love going to Jackie's Galaxy in Johnston before Covid, then Hei place later took on the old restaurant and we still love it! The staff treats you like family from day one and once you become a regular its always such a treat when they show you how much they've missed you. 10/10 would recommend! P.S. You have to get the Fried ice cream it's to die for!!!<3
Speaks volumes the owners don't bother to respond to any reviews positive or negative. Should have looked up their reviews before I ordered. I live in the Johnston area, never been here and pretty low maintanance guy with take out. I ordered a lunch special everything that was supposed to be crispy was soggy, had some chicken fingers and asked for a side of sauce and they charged me $2.00 (on an $8.50 plate!) lol Boneless spare ribs were really fatty. Clearly pre-frozen (dumped out of a bag) doughy triangular crab rangoon. 90% of the container was filled with the white rice. Maybe they prepare their other menu items better, but you know you can never take back a really bad first impression. The Bad news: I Won't be going back or recommending them, The Good news: According to their website...they're HIRING, (thumbs up emoji)
We came here for the first time on Christmas Day 2021 and the food was excellent. Since then we've come back several times and it's been downhill ever since. The food is not fresh and one time the order of spring rolls was so bad they tasted awful. I called up to get a credit and was told they don't do that instead next time I come give them the order number and they will replace it with the same. So giving them yet another chance we came back and did so and everything was still gross including the spring rolls.
From the first visit 2 months ago (4 star) they seem to have already started to show the cut backs. I'll put this on ice for a while. Went from X Large shrimp in their dishes to small tiny veiny canned looking shrimp just as one example.
Always enjoy dining here. Dishes are consistently excellent & thoughtfully prepared. They are super friendly & go above and beyond to make it a memorable experience!
My husband and I thought we would try it. He got orange chicken and I got lo mein. We also ordered pork fried rice. Everything is alacart. We thought it was good and tasty and will go back.?

Love the bartender! Can’t remember her name but she often there on Thursdays and the sweetest. Always makes a great time :)
