Came here for lunch the other day + while the server was pleasant, but the food and overall service was really not good. Maybe I went into it with expectations, or ordering from the specials menu was a mistake, but I certainly didn’t enjoy the meal. The Greek salad was lackluster with a mix-match of Americanized ingredients, and fell the most short with the croutons (?) that were more of those burnt bulk croutons rather than anything close to quality or homemade. Alongside large, unappetizing vegetables (cucumber + tomato) and the lack of any olive oil for dressing (just some ranch) made the salad displeasing. The gyro as a main dish was the best aspect of the meal, with good portion sizes and overarching balance; yet it still had that same “processed” meat gyro greasiness and shape that even conflicted with the tzatziki. My worst choice off the menu were the eggplant fries which were even more greasy and overwhelming in taste and feel. These weren’t slowly air-fried, pan-fried or even well deep-fried as the eggplant was wilted and absorbed all of the oil. I’m not sure how the chefs battered the dish, but the frying method and overarching flavor felt lacking by itself and with its accompanied tomato sauce. While my server was nice, the price of the meal seemed to go up tremendously from what I thought I was ordering. The gyro and Greek salad were supposed to go together and the fries extra, but the pricing was swapped, costing an extra $6 for a salad that wasn’t good nor sizable. Tossing on the tax, paying more than $20 for lunch, never mind one that was not good at all, was kinda the icing on the cake.I imagine the food here is much better outside these options and that it’s possible the quality changes throughout the day, but my experience will certainly push me to avoid the restaurant moving forward.
I use to enjoy ordering from here, I still gave it a shot with it being ran by new owners, but I was very disappointed. I ordered vegetarian chili to go since it was for my lunch break. Let me tell you I got more cheese and onion than I did the chili. I honestly had to throw it away since every bite I was literally eating melted cheese NOT CHILI.
Cozy pub style atmosphere with an upscale pub menu. Friendly fun and attentive staff. Delicious specials, something for everyone menu, and fairly priced drinks.Great cappuccino and deserts.
We were a part of 7. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. The server took our drink order quickly but then took quite a while to return to get our food order although the place did not look full. The food was great. I mistakenly received rice instead of fries but the server took care of it immediately and the hot fresh fries came out soon after. The server forgot a request for a soda and it took a bit to get her attention to ask again. So overall: great food and drinks, reasonably priced. Service was good when the server was there but could be more attentive.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Our fabulous waitress and owner Berta was so friendly and accommodating she made us feel like we were part of the family. I got octopus which was out of this world. Probably the most tender I've had from any restaurant. The steamers were so sweet and let's not even talk about the drinks. I'm a martini girl and they wwre amazing. I had an Espresso, Reesees and Dirty Martini. Plus they had blue cheese stuffed olives which made eveything just that much better. We had a large party of 8 and the service was really speedy. She made sure we were well taken care of and not a glass was empty. We will be back for sure!!
Me and my fiancé walked in with our babies and we both ordered a margarita the waitress asked us for our ids which we both produced at request then the waitress took my fiancés I’d and we could here her talking loudly to the other staff that she’s underage and it’s a strange id I told them to scan it because it’s obviously real and to her surprise it was she then walked back over and said she apologized and didn’t mean to offend her now at this point it was pretty obvious that the waitress was talking about us so other customers were now staring at us like we had done something wrong which made her feel uncomfortable. I understand checking ids and Have no problem with it however side comments are not needed just scan it to verify it’s authenticity. I genuinely was excited to come to this spot and am let down we will not be returning due to the poor customer service and the blatant embarrassment. Also the food is only average I had a Cuban sandwich and fiancé had the Alfredo pasta neither were impressive.
Love the Red Bridge Tavern! Love the cozy atmosphere, the ever changing menu, the cost and the staff! their bread basket has a surprising moist cornbread along with the yummy bread. One of our favs.
Found this place while working out f town. Staff was pretty nice. Food was decent. They made the wrong burger but he quickly fixed the issue.
Wife, inlaws and myself went for dinner on a Friday night. Busy but not overcrowded. Seated fairly quick and service began immediately. Full bar and great menu options. We all ordered mixed drinks and appetizers. We had 2lb steamers and potato skins. All were brought out timely and were really good too.We each had entrees that were also brought out perfectly timed to the appetizers. My wife ordered clams zuppa and was very pleased. My MIL ordered a steak that was perfect to temperature. I had arancini with sirloin and spinach. Crazy good! Sirloin was fork tender. I honestly forgot what my FIL had but it was gone so it had to be good.Wife ended the meal with a chocolate cheesecake which was indulgently chocolate. I got one fork full.Great staff. Very friendly and accommodating to my wife's sometimes crazy questions.Great place that we will go to again when we are back in RI.
Had the best time! Great mermaid drink and great Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. Always a good time!
