Staff very friendly and efficient
Two or three times a year I get a craving for the diversity of food you can get at a buffet. Buffet restaurants were more common a couple decades ago. Most are now Asian.Personally I am a sampler who likes to try a small amount of numerous items on the menu.At least on my first plate. Then for the second plate I go back for fruits and some favorites to close out the meal.Being able to select out low carb & low sugar options is an advantage for the health of some individuals in a large buffet location.
Haven’t been in awhile, so my hubby and I had dinner there tonight. All the food we had was cold. Egg and spring rolls had an awful flavor. Did not eat much because what we had was disgusting. Our bill for 2 was $39 without tip. I’m thinking Burger King would have been better. We will not be returning. Too bad it has really gone down hill.
Food is standard fare for Asian buffet. Despite COVID still existing there was no mask requirements. Staff sat people to the table right next to ours despite there being plenty of space to stagger patrons between tables for safety. Saw a sick child being carried by their parent cough directly on to the hibachi ingredients. Hibachi worker did not pull the food. Won't be going back.
This is the first buffet we visited when we first moved to RI and we’ve visited it a few more times. It was pretty good. This time it wasn’t. Very small dessert selection. The food was mostly bland. Definitely would’ve liked more flavor in all the meats for example. The area to the back right, where we were seated, was dark and the floor was slippery. The women’s bathroom floor was wet. It did have a sign but it didn’t look like it was from mopping (unless they really didn’t squeeze the mop). It was gross and getting muddy quickly from people walking on all that “water”. Will definitely be looking for another buffet to take the family.
I do love this place as a personal favorite for convenience of were it is, speed you get your food obviously since it is a buffet and the ladies in there actually know my family when we go in. Have been for years and many more.
Food was pretty good, they kept putting out fresh food. One part that was confusing were the labels for what each dish was, I don't think they updated them frequently enough. The wait staff was friendly and efficiently removing old plates from the table.
The food on Friday , the 11th of March ,2022 was terrible. The food was tasteless, some of the fruits (oranges in particular) were bad and rotten. Even the shrimps weren’t properly done well. It’s not usually like this but that day , it was bad .
Been going here for years. Great selection of food. Great staff. This is my go-to buffet spot. You won't be disappointed
Worst buffet I've been to in RI, plenty of other buffets nearby that are a lot better. They stop refilling food and start to close hibachi 2-3 hours before official close time. This meant that even though I arrived 2 hours before close, a good portion of the food was already gone, sushi was out, salad was out, most desserts were gone, ice cream was low, hibachi was cleaning up, workers started to hand out bills, etc. Much of the food was undercooked or overcooked, and every soup was absolutely disgusting and had weird aftertastes.
