I havenât been here since the pandemic and the experience was even better than I had expected. The food was absolutely amazing and hot. Our sangrias were delicious also. Thanks for making a weekday girls night out perfect !
Small menu but excellent food
I had booked a reservation, but as there were tables outside we decided to sit outdoors. The area was beautifully set! I hadnât been in such a long time so this little addition in the back was a very nice surprise. Food as always was very good as were drinks! Though the ordering from phone is a nice modern touch it can be a bit tricky and if you have spotty service can be a pain to utilize. I think having the option of being able to order at the bar once sat at the table and have a server know the order is for outdoors would be a nice add or maybe have a card with Wi-Fi log in so that itâs not taking a while to process or have errors pop up on phone. Staff tho was very attentive in helping and ensuring the best experience to all sitting outside.
Service was good, atmosphere very nice, was disappointed when many sandwiches and burgers were out of stock and the beer selections online were different from last nights menu..
We had the hot honey chix thigh sand. OMG. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. A little messy, but who cares.
Just a lot louder than I had expectedâ¦. Thatâs it everything else was spot on . I couldnât hear my girlfriends without yelling

On 6/12/2022 , I was racially discriminated against at the black tavern in East Providence. I was made to wait over an hour while white people who arrived after me got their food in minutes. When I told the manager who identified herself as Rebbeca , she was extremely rude. I needed an explanation as to why white people who arrived after me had got their food within minutes. She also refused to give me the owner’s number. I plan on filing charges on racial discrimination against this restaurant.
Dinner at Black Duck Tavern before a show at the Comedy Connection is an incredible combination and makes for a perfect date night or hang out with friends. Black Duck's menu is exceptional. Several people I've eaten with have said they're burgers & chicken sandwiches are the best they've had. I got the Chicken and Waffles last time and it was incredible. I can't wait to come back!
