Food is good just a little expensive but there service is good
worst baked goods I have ever tasted ! I am Italian I know good baked goods! Treat from my husband that was a big fail!
No wonder why they win awards every year, Lou’s is most likely the top Italian delis in the state.So consistent, affordable and everything is high quality.I got a large sausage and peppers sandwich ($11.50). It was huge, had amazing bread and packed with meat.Their spinach pies ($3.25) and other calzones are amazing as well.
5 star Italian delights! Chicken soup is better than my own homemade soup!
Very poor customer service especially around the holidays. My mom has been calling the past few weeks to place an order for Christmas and couldn’t get through so she left a voicemail. No one called back, but she was persistent and called again and finally spoke to someone today. The counter person and manager were so rude to her and advised that 200 other people could get through and place their orders so basically she missed out there was nothing they could do and did not even apologize. I think it’s very unprofessional and so disappointing that my mom was treated this way. We only wanted a half tray of penne with vodka sauce and were advised last time we ordered we only had to call a few days ahead; which clearly is not the case. You have lost good customers and we will be sure to share this bad experience with all our family and friends.
The Umberto’s have catered our Christmas party at work on more than one occasion. 2 offices, lots of staff = LOTS of food. Absolutely exceptional service and food alike. If this is your first time and your browsing reviews before a decision, look no more. If this isn’t your first time around and your here to see if alls still well.. it is. For authentic Italian food to make your soul happy.. these are your guys.
Always amazing. This time I got a hot meatball grinder. Amazing. So far, it's the best meatball sandwich I've had in RI.

Honestly it's one of the best little Italian joints I've been to in rhode island. And the most reasonably priced. ( the old folks that swing by here are also really cute)
