first time visit to this restaurant right near home . Had Hibatchi steak lunch portion cooked med/ rare it was perfect ! Their fried rice best I’ve ever had . Veggies mix not your run of the mill freezer blend in a delicious sauce . Attentative , curtious personable waitstaff . Huge menu selection . Looking forward to frequenting this local businesses.
The reviews are correct. The building is misleading, the sushi was so incredible. Give it a try, everything looks and smells and looks so good. Well worth it. Friendly and attentive staff.
So I am typing this as I am finishing up in the ER. Last night we ordered takeout around 630. As I was eating this I noticed something was very very off. The taste, the smell, the temperature. The sushi was warm. I ate the 3 rolls around 7:15. 830-845 I proceeded to get in bed. From this point forward it was ON. I must have thrown up 12 times, and had thee worst stomach ache in the world. Finally at 3:30 I couldn’t take it anymore and came to the hospital. It was determined I have a bad stomach infection from the sushi. What I went through last night I don’t wish that on my worst enemy. I will no longer be dining at Kochi.
Sushi is very fresh. Tempura vegetables and shrimp was delicious
Stumbled upon this place by accident a few weeks ago and have already been more than once. The menu is extensive and they have specials as well.
Literally my favorite place to get food. The Inside dining area is so pretty and getting take out doesn’t drop the food quality at all. They have great sushi, great lunch deals, and I love the sesame chicken. 10/10 restaurant with 10/10 staff
Food was good. In my opinion it was a little expensive based on where the restaurant is located. And also decoration feels a little outdated

Everything was amazing. Highly recommend the Unicorn Roll, the Out of Control Roll and the wonton soup. Fast and friendly service. They also make a wonderful Mai Thai. will definitely be back.
My favorite restaurant in all of Rhode Island. I can’t say enough about this place. The food is always delicious and consistent and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Everything a restaurant should be and more
