Listen...its good. But how many different iterations of American Italian food are there gonna be in Rhode Island? It's literally the same restaurant you can find every 5 miles. If you're looking for a standout I guess it would be the service. Ask for Jennifer. She's incredible.Everything else is just a solid mid tier restaurant on repeat. It's the old "if it ain't broke don't fix it" routine. No ingenuity whatsoever and that's probably by design.Nothing to turn you off but nothing to rave over either.Bring your parents or bring your friends who think chicken parmesan is Italian. They will love it.

Always excellent food and service. Interesting eclectic menu with different specials throughout the week.

My review focuses on the service because the food was great. I would give it 5 stars for the food alone. What I want to know is why the waitstaff ignore customers when they first walk in. Both my husband and I are older and to stand for long periods of time while waiting to be seated on a not busy night..with the staff clearly seeing you..is unbelievably rude. The manager needs to seriously address this, it happens every time we go to the restaurant.

Food is fresh and delicious. Service is excellent and Staff is very attentive & professional. Nice wine, don't go by the way the restaurant looks outside. It's very comfortable & clean inside! Great Italian food.

The staff was very friendly. I had calamari and shrimp risotto. Both dishes were incredible, especially the calamari.

Food was excellent, service was great. A little noisy near the bar but that's to be expected.

Served raw food Allset not coming back cooks need to step up there game! The service other wise was great.

This was our first time at Fresco in Cranston. It was delicious! The calamari was big and unlike most calamari I’ve had before so I wasn’t sure how it would be. It was surprisingly very tasty. Of the four main dishes our table had, I would recommend the gnocchi (house made) and seafood stew. Also at the top of my list is the fig martini. It was delicious and the presentation was perfect with the fig newton on top. Be careful though…it’s strong!

This was a hidden gem for us. It was very close to our house and and with some bad weather we tried to check it out. Definitely a nice fancy restaurant decorated well. We've noticed people having holiday parties, birthday parties, date nights and anniversaries. We also noticed while sitting at the bar, the staff appears to know everybody. Lots of return clientele which is telling. The food was amazing, wonderful textures and tastes. We popped over there for a quiet New Year's Eve and learned they do 2 person specials similar to restaurant week. Our favorites have been the lobster ravioli and the braised beef. Top notch quality, always a consistent outcome. Delish meals served here, highly recommended.

My sisters and I had our mothers 80th surprise birthday dinner last night at Frescos in Cranston. The room was extremely small and beyond warm! The waitress Corey was horrible! She kept rolling her eyes, forgetting drinks, taking way too long to bring us our drinks and then messed up on a few bills because she was rolling her eyes and wasn’t paying attention to the details of who was on what bill..besides that I ordered Rigatoni Bolognese which was basically pasta in a marinara sauce. My husband’s pasta in his short rib tagliatelle wasn’t cooked enough. And the organic chicken that my daughter in law had was burnt. My sister ordered gnocchi with marinara sauce because she doesn’t like pink vodka and it came with pink vodka sauce! The waitress kept saying “I know there was three orders of the gnocchi” .. yea there was but one had marinara sauce and of course she didn’t write it down that way so it came out wrong!I spent $135 and I was not satisfied whatsoever.. I definitely will not be coming back to Frescos!
