Decided to try this place this morning. Does not accept debit (I found out WHILE she was making my coffee). She lied that they had run out of oatmilk, but had almond milk. I told her I don't use that and she then poured "something" in my coffee, telling me she had a little left but "wasn't supposed to use it". ? I asked why and she told me, "because she only had a little left ". So she lied to my face then insults me. I apparently wasn't worthy of the oatmilk. Just a completely weird encounter there with terrible customer service and I will never return. I left without my coffee or the last of their oatmilk.?

Our family now lives out of state but Cafe Bon-Ami is always our first and last stop when we are in Rhode Island. It is rare to partake in a restaurant meal or drink and experience something special. Every visit to the Cafe is special, perfect crepes, a thoughtfully built egg sandwich (this is not a microwaved egg carelessly thrown between two halves of a stale bagel - Think wilted spinach, extra virgin olive oil smoked gouda and cracked pepper), baked goods beyond compare and coffee drinks made with thought and care by professionals. Thank you Caffe Bon Ami for doing what you do every day. You remain an oasis in a wasteland of reheated frozen food and paint by numbers fast food "baristas". If you have yet to visit, go now.

Best coffee in New England! Malcom knows the deal! He’s one of the only coffee shops around that actually takes the time to brew coffee the way it was intended! Using authentic methods of brewing Malcom out real passion and love into his coffee and food! Most shops around don’t put as much effort into their business as this guy does. I had the best iced cappuccino here! I’ve made so many attempts to find a good coffee and have failed! Come to Caffe-Bon-Ami, you won’t be disappointed!

I'll say it again, cafe bon ami has hands down the best espresso in New England! Drop in for a nice hello, friendly banter and know you're supporting a great little Rhode Island small business.

Stopped here for coffee! Loved the atmosphere and the friendly service. Ordered the White Chocolate Snow Storm, SO GOOD!! Definitely check out this cafe if you’re in the area!

Coffee is fine... service is a tad slow on the weekend. They always seem short handed...Crepes are ok.Go for the entertainment... the owner seems pretty ornery--I think he hates anyone that isn't a jock or a hard core republican.Very entertaining...I CANNOT imagine working for him... oi vey...

The Latte was delicious, always consistent every time I go in there. Very professional, and great atmosphere.

Went this morning to try this place for the first time and even though it was crazy packed we still decided to wait, when we were about to order this guy with grey hair making the coffees(maybe the owner) started yelling “open the god dammed doors” a few times with a bad attitude. It looked like he definitely don’t know how to work under pressure, and at least personally I don’t like my food to be prepared by someone in a bad mood. If he was talking to an employee that’s not the way to do it specially if you have clients around. And if you can’t work under pressure I’d suggest to sell the business to someone else and find something else to do.

Owners refuse to pay wages high enough to attract workers and (judging from their required “qualifications”,) they’re probably toxic and foster an unhealthy and hostile work environment.

Cozy home feel with coffee in mugs and aroma of fresh baked goods. The staff was very inviting and helpful, my Nutella crepes were to die for! ?? My toddler sat at the doorway and watched as the cars went buy. Win win!
