Megan was the bartender, and where we sat at our table. She came over and explained the wines!!!!! Let me tell you not only did she make our experience amazing, but she made this a staple for Italian food when we are craving that gaba-goo . I’m just going to Gas that woman up and it’s all I’m going to do in this review. If you are coming to eat here. Ask for megs wine review and you won’t go wrong with the drink she recommends. The food was great but the experience was enormous!
Came to York for work. By far a dry and boring town. However, I was able to find this gem through the rough. AN EXPERIENCE! Staff is by far amazing, from my greeting to my tip & goodbye. I enjoyed my dining experience. Food was exceptional and drinks where ? Will return!!!!
Everything was good, the wine was my favorite (Tommasi Cabernet), the charcuterie was pricey, and just okay, not many options on it, I didn’t love the meats, and the cheese was good but all combined wasn't my favorite. The basil panna cotta was good, & loved the texture, but, I don’t know that it was $13 good. Service was top notch, servers were very friendly and attentive, especially being that they were so busy, and the atmosphere was lovely. I’d visit again, but to try something else.
Went here for Valentines weekend dinner. Wait staff was very poorly trained. Some tables got bread, and others didn't. Some people were told there were specials; others (like myself) were not told about the specials. Manager was walking around but clearly not paying attention to anything. Also got food poisoning from their meatballs. Would not recommend. Will never return.
We had an absolutely fabulous meal last night! The Cauliflower Agnolotti was outstanding and should be added to the regular menu! The pistachio cake was an excellent way to end such a fine meal! The service was fantastic too! Kudos to the best chef in town!!!
Great food and wine! Nice atmosphere
Fresh made pasta is amazing. All entrees excellent. Great cocktails. Fabulous atmosphere. Great service. Hard to beat.
Tutoni's is a wonderful Italian restaurant located in York, PA. There is a public parking lot around the corner for easy access. The service was prompt and polite. Our server was able to explain the menu and provide a little history about the restaurant. She was also very helpful in recommending wine and drink. A small seasonal menu was provided with a wide variety of flavors available. Gluten free pasta is an option. Almost everything is made in house and you really taste the attention to detail in every bite. The restaurant is dimly lit with small overhead lights strung about the ceiling making it a great spot for a date night.
Excellent wine selection, especially considering the area where that’s far and few between. The biggest qualm was with the pasta dishes. We tried three pastas (bucatini, gemelli and fazzoleti) and each was extremely over cooked - soggy, slimy noodles just saturated in each of their own sauces. Professing to be an Italian restaurant based on pasta, someone needs a refresher on al dente.
We held a very special Celebration of Life for my father in law here, and everything from the atmosphere, the food, the service was absolutely spectacular. We did have a slight issue with communication, but once made aware, Jacob Dopp, handled it quickly and was very gracious in making things right. We highly recommend!!!
