This place is extremely prejudice and racist. From the moment you walk in the door the staff and clientele constantly stare at my family, and make us feel as if we don't belong there. Not to mention that every single time we've went we have seated in the same booth near the entrance. To top it off, just today we went to meet with our Hispanic friends that were already, and they refused to seat us with them because they "Couldn't accommodate more than 7 people at a table" according to the manager on duty, even though our party had 8 people and a baby in a high chair. Yet 2 weeks ago we witnessed how they accommodated the families of my son's baseball team (over 12 people) without a problem. I finally understand why they renamed their "Puerto Rican Wings" and decided to call them "Vault wings" now. God forbid they give the Hispanic community anything more than a job as busboys or dishwashers.
Food poisoning. 100% food poisoning from eating at this establishment. We got white pizza and vault wings and my whole family within 4 to 8 hours of eating was very sick with food poisoning! If you like having diarrhea, vomiting, and cramps. I would suggest eating here. So disappointed because this is our regular order and it tasted great, but the after effect was not worth it!!!!
The food was fresh, hot, tasty and cheap! This place is really a nice place. The owner knows most of his customers by first name pretty cool and refreshing to have such a nice professional and posh establishment in Dover Pa. Definitely brought your A game…… overall bad a$$ place !!!
Good Luck if you eat here.My wife and I went for dinner and the experience was not good. We arrived and were seated at our table. It all seemed ok at first. We got our drinks, then after that we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our food order. The waitress kept saying she would be right with us but it took a while. She finally took our order and it didnt take too long to get our food, but there were issues. I ordered a burger and my wife ordered bang bang shrimp. The burger was ok, nothing to write home about. My wife's shrimp were over cooked and they tried to cover them up with the sauce and it made them inedible. Then when asked how everything was,, we told the waitress and the owner the issues and they didn't care. The owner said that's how they are always done. If that is the case there is clearly an issue in the kitchen. Food should look pleasant to eat and you should enjoy it. Not this! You would think that they would do something to correct the issue but not so much. They gave us our bill and that was it. No sorry, no let me take it off your bill .....nothing.If this is how the service is here we won't be going back.
Unexpectedly good! We've been driving past for a year and finally decided to stop in. We're recently moved from out of town and asked our waitress for some recommendations. She told us that the "turnovers" were very popular. Unfortunately the name turnover can't come close to describing what they actually are. We had a cheesesteak turnover which was a cheesesteak in a folded over pizza crust. Delicious!!! Much tastier than a roll. Any sandwich can be made as a turnover. We also ordered Old Bay Chips - freshly cut thin potato slices fried and tossed with Old Bay. They come with ranch dip - we also asked for blue cheese dip. Yum. We can't say enough about our server, Stephanie. Absolutely the best!! The restaurant was busy and she was attentive to everyone. Pleasant, happy to make recommendations, checked on us a few times to see if our food was ok and if we needed drink refills. We can't wait yo go back
The wings here are amazing! I also love their fish sandwich it's the square one if that helps. (I always ask what kind of fish lol) but service was fast and I enjoyed my time. I even ordered to go which was easy as well
My family and I was racially profiled and wasn’t allowed to eat at this place. I called a few days ahead and asked can they accommodate a family of 9 so we can celebrate my daughter graduation. They said of course just come in anytime after 6pm. I had family members coming from out of town to celebrate with us. As we went in to be seated they simply told us no they can’t accommodate a big party. Even when I asked can we sit at different tables they were very rude and gave us lame excuses. There were several empty tables available and they refused to give us a table. My kids was disappointed and I was very embarrassed. Very rude and unprofessional.
What a gem! Service is friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic. We just had the lasagna and a stroboli. Both were some of the best we've had in the county. We will definitely be back
If I could give it less then one star then I would. The food is not the problem. Although it is only mediocre at best. There are plenty of other pizza shops within 5 miles of here with better food. The real problem with this place is the owner. I personally have seen him make 3 separate waitresses cry while he screamed at them on the dining room floor. This man does not deserve your money. Honestly it’s lunch counter quality at best.
We ordered take out. They should've warned us on the phone before we ordered that they were short staffed. We waited almost an hour to pay for a completely cold pizza, which we then tossed in the trash and paid more money to buy actually warm food from Royal Farms. They were not nice or friendly and offered no apology for making us wait an hr for cold pizza. The time before that, they messed up and gave me a pepperoni pizza (not what I ordered) when I'm a vegetarian. I excused it and tried to give them another chance. But then this time they gave me completely cold pizza. There's no point of getting pizza at The Vault if it always just goes in the garbage.
