We come back every three to six months because my husband loves this place. Me....not so much. Today we went in for the father's Day brunch and the menu, as always, looked amazing! We had breakfast egg rolls which were decent but they came out after our breakfast and we had to remind our server we even ordered them. Other tables received them before their breakfast. Two of our party had the brisket Benedict and commented the brisket was dry and tough. Two of us had the Alamo and it tasted good but was dry. There was so little queso and so little butter that the breakfast was dry. This is usually the problem I have with the roost, garbage biscuit, etc.. I even ordered sausage gravy on the side to see if that helped and it did, but not enough. Our server disappeared regularly and rarely returned. We had one person who had to eat her entire breakfast without a drink. The cups were dirty and when the waitress was there she was gruff and forgot stuff we asked for. We will keep trying but I'm not a huge fan. I love the concept and the menu item descriptions.
We stopped here for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a BLT and a burger and both were fantastic. Wait staff was very friendly. You can tell there is pride of ownership here. It shows. Bathrooms were spotless too which says a lot about a restaurant.
We went with a group from work for a breakfast meeting. They were extremely accommodating and very helpful. The waitress, also the manager, made sure we had everything we needed and was so friendly. Many of us have been back since with our families. Food and menu were amazing! Also loved the coffee cups and bought a couple. Definitely recommend!
The food was good, my only complaint was that I ordered from the kids menu and the chicken tenders were spicy. Not spicy for an adult, I would have eaten them, they actually tasted really good, but my two year old was not liking that extra spice. I just don't usually expect things to have even a little kick on a kids menu. Maybe it's just my picky children though!
Great ambiance, delicious food! I got a vegan egg & sausage sandwich on sourdough. So good!
Randomly decided to try The Roost Uncommon Kitchen this morning and this place did not disappoint. Don’t sleep on this place. 10/10 recommend !! I had the breakfast Chorizo tacos and a biscuit with jam. The flavors were amazing and so fresh. Service was wonderful and very kind. Will definitely be back and excited to try their new pizza place out when it opens.
We went for breakfast, inviting atmosphere-Clean, bright, casual decor, eclectic. Menu unique with biscuits or cornbread, smoked brisket.
Finally had a chance to try Roost. Super casual, with awesome food and service. Great tater tots. Can’t wait to return!
We unknowingly visited Roost during their grand re-opening. The place was full, and Bree, the General Manager and only server that day, was in complete control, and elevated the atmosphere with her friendly, fun, expert demeanor. The interior was bright, and its eclectic charm created a positive, fun brunch vibe. The food was unique, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Treehugger Omelette with hash browns, and a lavender iced coffee. I would recommend both! The table ordered cinnamon buns and hush puppies to share, and both were delectable.
Definitely a unique breakfast spot! Atmosphere is great! The food was so tasty and plentiful! Unique breakfast options that can also fit dietary restrictions.
