I’m give more but first time we went they were out of what my husband what my husband ordered. Second time my husband ordered what he ended up having to get the first time and they were out of it. Third time we tried they were out of what I ordered, gave my husband boneless wings when it says bone in wings, and I ordered the Ensenada Chicken Platter because they were now out of what I ordered and she was waiting so I just picked the next thing on the menu thinking I’ll just try it. Well it wasn’t great and when I looked at what it actually was, no wonder it wasn’t that good. All she brought me was literally two grilled chicken patties, it had nothing on it. When I looked it up and saw the picture it actually looks really good if she would’ve given me what I ordered and not just two plain grilled chicken patties. Needless to say my husband and I have decided not to go back for a fourth time. This was the one in York PA.
My husband and I had a very disappointing experience this evening. They weren’t very busy, but it took five minutes for anyone to acknowledge us standing at the front desk and then our simple meals took over 30 minutes to come out. My husband’s fries and my fries were both cold when our meals finally came out and my husband’s burger was incorrect. I asked for more sweet potato fries when mine were almost out and our waiter never brought me more. Our waiter was very inattentive and we watched him spend most of his time talking and goofing off with co-workers.
We called ahead to add our name to the wait list, 20 minutes prior to getting there. We get there and made them aware we arrived. We would get a txt when our table was ready. Others coming in, it was a 30-45 minute wait. After 15 minutes waiting and others (larger parties) were being seated before us, I went to the hostess just to make sure they had the correct phone #, I was rudely advised they txt us 15 minutes ago but they could seat us now. Drinks order was taken and were delivered promptly. Our order was taken and appetizer was delivered promptly. After noticing that people seated after us were getting there food I asked to speak to a manager as we still have not received our food. The food was being served while she was standing at our table. The food was COLD. She assured us she would put a RUSH on our food. Never offered us any fries or anything while we wait. 15 minutes later, our food was delivered with the apology that there are minors working in the back and it was time for them to leave. We ate our food and went to pay. I asked to speak to a manager again to see if they were able to make our experience right. She said she already removed the first meal that was cold and that was all she could do. I advised as an ex-waitress, the service we experienced tonight was LESS THAN STELLAR which is sad cause we enjoy eating and the experience when we dine at Red Robbins!! We will definitely not return to red Robbin on Mt Zion rd in York PA!!
It has been a trend with casual restaurants to stack the menus, plates, and cutlery on the table; and let the guests pass them out and set our own table. Today, we had a party of seven, and the server literally did not leave the end of the table. Everything was “pass it down” - drinks, appetizers and lunches. Do you want to be a restaurant, or a chow hall? Please step it up and make dinning out worth it.
We were here on kids night. They were really busy. The food was excellent and the service exceptional. Evelyn our server was incredible. Really worked hard and was always pleasant and smiling even under the conditions. She is definitely an asset to the company.
Got seated quickly. However getting our order taken was a little lengthy. With most places being under staffed because of the pandemic we were justnhappy to be able to eat in doors.The appetizers were great but the burgers were undesirable.I have eaten here many times and this by far was the worst. They looked Great!!! But they were raw after the first bite :(
They kept forgetting part of our orders, the drinks from the bar kept coming back wrong. The server apologized and attempted to make it better. However we got our dinner before the appetizer came. The manager came over and apologized and said he would personally get the items we were missing and never showed back up to our table, as well as the items he said he would get. We had to reask for those missing items just to get them as we were almost done eating. If they were so shorthanded, they should not have sat so many tables. Just an overall horrible experience. We have eaten at many Red Robin's in multiple states and this was the absolute worst. Next time we will go to a farther one in Lancaster where we have always had great service.
This restaurant has really great service. The wait time is very minimal to be seated.The dining experience is wonderful. No matter what day and time we go here, the food is delicious. The severs are very knowledgeable.
Love this restaurant. Always good service. Burgers and fish and chips are outstanding. I enjoy the avo cabbo salad. I didn't care fir the frozen avacado tonight.
My daughter Loves going the first Wednesday of the month to see Red! Food is always on time and hot! Friendly servers.
