Very good ice cream and a small grocery with dairy and other prepared items, no produce. Interesting to see duck eggs in the fridge. There is plenty of outdoor seating for a rural and family friendly meeting spot. Beautiful views on a working farm. Looks like lots of baby calfs near the ice cream. I think you can go pet them.
This is the best country farm store/dairy. I really enjoy the ice cream they make. If you're not getting ice cream, the breads, cookies, sandwiches and other foods are great as well. Perrydell is a great place to bring your family as there is something for everyone. This is definitely a stop worth making! Thanks Perrydell!
Located not too far south of York, this is worth the drive! The milkshakes and ice cream are amazing. The small farm store has a plethora of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, milk (of course), juices, and sweets.All of the staff were so nice and helpful. The site also has two port-a-loo toilets located adjacent to the car park.
Perrydell makes the best chocolate milk ever. It’s like melted chocolate ice cream. When I learned that they had a store nearby that sells ice cream and milk, my family and I went. Their chocolate ice cream is superb, AND they have the baby calves in little pens out back. You can go and pet them. I love it, and our toddler does too. The calves are very cute. Sometimes they’ll lick your hand, or sometimes they’ll try to nibble on a kid’s shirt. They’re quite endearing, and it’s a good time. Heads up if you go- you have to order and pick up ice cream outside of the store. You can buy pints and such inside the store though. (Also you can see the flavors they have available inside.) It can be a little slow, but it’s worth the wait.
My grandson loves being able to see the cows and the ice cream is delicious!
Thanks for turning my kids away for being there at 8:47 pm. There was no clearly marked sign that says the window closes early. I stood in a long line for nothing. We were the LAST PEOPLE IN LINE. Poor customer service. At least put a clearly marked sign up so other people don’t waste their time. Will never be back. Disappointed kids tonight.
The perfect stop for delicious ice cream and of course milk ! You can view the cows getting milked from a viewing room and you can pet the new arrivals of the season !
Ice cream was excellent! I ended up going home with 3 different pints My toddler loved petting the calves too. Wonderful experience on a nice day, we will be back!
We have been going here for years to get our fresh milk and unbelievable chocolate milk. Nothing better then right from the farm fresh. They offer delicious baked goods, premade sandwiches, refrigerated desserts, and some of the best dipped ice cream ever.Snack, and other treats available as well.Great job Perrydell, we are customers for life. Always delicious farm fresh milk and ice cream! The flavored milk is really good, especially the peanut butter! Inside there is a store that has a variety of baked good and milk products. Kids have a blast here! You can let them see and pet baby calves!
