I bought a bbq chicken salad today. barely 3/4 full. pathetic for a $10 salad
We live in the area and order from here several times per month due to the convenient location and the good variety of healthy salads. However, for some reason, this location tends to mess up our orders about 50% of the time, regardless of whether we order online or in the drive through. Sometimes it is as simple as the baguettes/chips and napkins, other times it is as simple as giving us the beverages. Do they need to put a sign in the kitchen or near the drive-thru window reminding their employees to double check for the sides and drinks? Other panera locations don't seem to have this problem.
This location has really gone down hill. I work at the hospital so it’s nice to be able to have Panera delivered. The past couple times I ordered food something was either missing or a thrown together sandwiches. I know places are short staffed and I’d rather wait a little longer for my food knowing it will be done right. I’ve ordered salad and didn’t receive my salad dressing. Today I ordered a salad with croutons, but no croutons were in the salad. I ordered a turkey sandwich with extra sauce. The sandwich was thrown together and they put so much extra sauce the bread was soaked and dripping. I always order extra sauce and have never had an excessive amount to where my bread was a soggy mess. Very disappointing because obviously I didn’t eat the sandwich.
I love Panera, however, not so much this location. The last three times I've been here, my drive-thru orders were not correct. And last night, the staff actually had the audacity to question me when I pointed out an item was missing. They don't give you receipts, but I always ask for one so thankfully, I had that as proof. I will drive further and avoid this location. Tip: check your order before you leave because it's likely missing something.

We love Panera Bread and eat at various locations. This location in York is closest to our home, so of course we go there. However, over the last 3 years, at least 50% of the time, our orders are messed up. Why is that so hard? A mistake here and there - I understand, but the frequency of messed up orders is crazy...and of course it's drive-thru orders that are messed up, so we don't realize until we get home. Forgotten baguettes/sides or cookies, a forgotten catering order, and yesterday my "chicken" poppyseed salad had no chicken on it. Management needs to step it up and ensure that orders are being filled accurately.
Of all Panera I’ve visit, this is the worst ever! They never had the food they offered. The Rapid Pick-up is never ready on time and you have to stand up several time to get your order re-done. I will never recommend this Panera.
I just want to mention that Gabrielle who waited on me at the drive in window has provided exceptional service. He is always extremely courteous and accommodating. Anytime I come across someone like him, I like to mention it. In a world where there is negativity at times it makes me happy to see a nice person who really cares about making people feel good. Thank you! I hope Gabrielle is recognized.
I eat at Panera Bread locations all over the country and love their wholesome food and menu but the Queen Street York PA location does not live up to the quality I’ve come to expect—at least at the drive thru. Tonite was the 2nd time the chicken was left off my Mediterranean Warm Grain bowl and based on other reviews sounds like they have a history of cutting the customer short. Not a good experience...
