Got ribs, crab cake, shrimp. All was phenomenal even the cole slaw. Would definitely recommend to all!!! Prices were great and the waitress was very accommodating. Way to go !!!!
What an amazing dinner. Sushi was outstanding, prime rib perfect and the crab cake was awesome. We will definitely be back.
Okay, this is really long, but please read. Do NOT eat here. If I could give a negative rating I absolutely would. This was the top WORST dinning experience ever. Customer service was awful. Food is terrible. Prices are astronomical and absolutely not worth it. My friend and I had a reservation for two a few nights ago. We waited for ten minutes (saw 4 different employees directly in front of us) without even being acknowledged. After we sat we had to flag our server down for everything! We asked our server when we ordered what the wait time for food was. She told us she would check and never returned. The table besides us had waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for a salad, sandwich and sushi. When our food finally came out, it looked disgusting and tasted worse. Both of us had to spit out bites of food we couldn’t even swallow they were so bad. To top it off there was a hair in our sushi. When paying $20-25 PER roll, I expect fresh fish, a sushi chef that knows how to cut fresh fish and no hair! We were praying we wouldn’t get food poisoning. ??Lastly, the owners wife was the rudest women I have ever witnessed. As we sat there gagging on our food. The table next to us still hadn’t got theirs. (They we’re there an hour before us) When they asked to just pay for their drinks and appetizers, the woman so rudely refused. Making excuses instead of apologizing. Then she stomped off like a mad woman. I was embarrassed for her. When she returned, she had two out of three of their meals. She threw them down on the table with take out boxes and said “I don’t care what you do with it, eat it or take it with you, here it is.” And turned and stomped away again. ? Speechless. Please, NEVER go here. These owners should NOT being running a restaurant. Clearly, they do not care a bit about the customers they serve.
I am a big sushi lover, came here for the first time for my birthday with my parents. The place is nice and the workers were very enthusiastic. I got a house bowl which was very good but very pricey, got an eel roll which was good. Also got a super dynamite roll and only had one piece, the flavor of the crab was overpowering and tasted like it came out of a can. My mom also got something with crab and both of us left with an unpleasant and sickening taste in our mouths. Don’t recommend the crab. Everything else is good.
This was my first visit. Overall, my friend and I enjoyed our visit. The restaurant is very clean and has a comfortable atmosphere. Waitress was good/professional. Things we think have room for improvement: The dynamite roll was too wide. The mushrooms in the shitake mushroom roll were overcooked or preserved: the mushrooms lacked any texture.
We absolutely love sushi and freshness is super important. Although Ocean San Sushi has the ambience of a quaint experience and all seemed fresh, we were dismayed at the high surcharge per item. We ordered shrimp/crab poppers, gyoza and then sushi. I do understand that product may be hard to obtain but a $2-$5 charge per item does not seem reasonable. Our 8 piece order (small pieces not the jumbo) was $23 and frankly lacked flavor. Even the wasabi seemed to lack flavor as we added and added, there was no color change to lighter and no heat. We are not cheap diners and never mind paying for good food and a good experience but will most likely not be back soon when York has other great sushi options for freshness, quality and taste.

Nicely decorated/ambiance. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was prepared quickly and was delicious. I challenge you to bring the heat next time.
Always delicious sushi. We try to get out here at least once a month as a treat. It's a little expensive but good sushi always is and you get plenty of portion for the price you pay. Staff is always very friendly whenever we come in.
Now serving mixed drinks and etc.! First offering their 38 ounce flavored lemonades with up to 5 shots of rum in them. I cut my rum in half and the blueberry lemonade drink was very refreshing. I had a salad with ginger dressing and the small Grandma roll of scallops, lobster, and crab which was great..! Many more people working there on both sides of the counters then I have ever seen before..! A group of us there and we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend..!
