I highly recommend this little gem of a place. The falafel were made and cooked perfectly and so fresh. The baba ganoush was made to order and absolutely heavenly. I tried the koshary which is an entree of rice, pastas, black lentils, tomato sauce, and fried onions. The fried onions were lightly breaded and fried to the perfect crispness to compliment the other textures of the dish. For dessert I got the Oreo cake which is homemade and so delicious and more like a pie than a cake. Everything here is freshly made and you can tell they put love into their cooking. The staff were so warm and friendly. Definitely a great place for some ethnic food.
Wonderful food if you want something a little bit different try it they even have desserts their rice mushroom and chicken is awesome it's in an alfredo sauce very easy on the stomach and has great taste highly recommended
Good food. Good atmosphere and service. Very nice owners. Nice for a quick meal. The 3 stars doesn't mean that anything was bad. For me, it wasn't outstanding.
It is great to see new flavors in York! The food is delicious, and the owners are lovely. I loved the Egyptian coffee, the Kosta, and the salad. The grilled chicken was tender and juicy.
Some of the most delicious food I have had. Their Grand opening featured a large selection of unique food I had never had. Some, more tasty(IMO), than others. The amazing thing was that I didn't have to be afraid of buying something that I didn't like, because in addition to a live band, everything was free. Since opening, I have received nothing but kindness and accommodations without fail. The young lady up front has an addictive smile and isn't afraid to make recommendations. These folks are doing it right as far as I can see.
My FAVORITE Egyptian food in York. The service is absolutely amazing. The staff is very welcoming and kind. I have visited a few times and was pleased every time. If you ever go you MUST try the lasagna. All in all was a 10/10 experience

Though the food was delicious it was Neama's kindness and eagerness to explain the dishes which won me over. Compliments to the chef and their son is very friendly and professional. Coming from NYC I'm used to amazing restaurants. I'd definitely take the trip to come here again! Amazing family & restaurant.
